I got 2 18650 batteries too. The Provari just feels a lot better in my hands with the extension cap. Without the extension cap my pinky is right at the end of the extension cap and it kind of bothered me. Plus the extra vape time I get with the 18650 is great.
Yeah, would be nice if they moved the button up as far as possible with the next model so I can get a better grip on the PV thumb-firing. I haven't dropped it yet, but got close once.

Guess I'm one of the odd balls. I just got my silver blem standard with the extension cap, already have a Black satin standard and a mini silver blem. I don't ever let my batteries go over 24 hours of use. When I get off work, that one goes in the charger and I swap it with a fresh one that's been rested over night or day. I always carry at least 3 APV's with me at work so I always got something to fall back on and extra batteries are no problem cause I always take my carto/tank/ nova lunch box with me. I just like options. Charge when I get home pop a fresh one in and I never miss a vape.

Go ahead and drop it. I've done it to all mine so far. Kinda like when I bought my first motorcycle. When it comes off the dealers showroom. Kick it over on the ground. After that your never gonna worry about what it looks like. It's part of their life. Gives em character. Just like their owners. We're all scratched and bruised just a bit. :)

I use 18650's 99.99% of the time. I need the extended battery life. I am female and have no problem with the length when using 18650. I am also not one bit concerned what anyone else thinks about my pv. pv = personal vaporizer and that pretty much says it all for me.

You go Lady rock on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i use 18490s exclusively. i dont even own any 18650s, or the extention cap.
the reason why i chose to go this route was purely monitary. its not that i dont want more battery life, because who cant use more battery life, right? the larger size is of slight concern, but its really more about the money. and now that i hear that the extention cap isnt flat, im really glad i dont have one. i knock my provari over enough as it is, i dont need the cap making it easier to fall over.

18650 + extention cap = $$$
18490 + 18490 = $

approximately the same amount of mAh for both scenarios, but the 18490 option is cheaper. sure, you have to go screw-screw-screw, slide batt, screw-screw-screw, but to me thats just fine. im religious about charging, so thats not an issue for me. i can see why others will chose the longer batt life. its just plain easier. but for me, i dont mind doing the extra work. different strokes for different folks. its nice that we have our options. who knows, maybe one day i'll get that extention cap (if its flat, or if i get a nice caddy)!
