How many people have you seen vaping in public (if any)?

I have seen a few at the local bar while there for dinner and bar trivia, blowing huge clouds at the bar like the old days where smoking was legal inside.

Also I had a blackjack dealer at a casino ask me about mine cause he had been trying the cig-a-likes and not had the best luck so far, had another person come to the table and start vaping as well. After the dealer's shift was over he came out and showed me what he had and I gave him a few tips and things to look into. (He was still using crappy Malboro-flavored pre-filled cartos)

Excellent post !!
The best way to spread the news is by openly vaping in public.
Millions of lives can be saved by switching to e-cigarettes.

Personally, I couldn't care less about the "Easily Offended" ...
I openly vape everywhere and have helped countless smokers
make the jump to e-smoking.

Saving the lives of smoking buddies is a Million times more important
than worrying about what the Easily Offended might think or say (period)

Saw my first vaper in the wild yesterday. I was driving through an intersection, and a guy in a UPS truck was making a left, he dropped his EGO, which hit the ground and was run over by his own truck....:(

If it would not have caused an accident, I would have stopped, followed him, and given him one of my small backup egos just to use.

sucks that the first vaper that I see in the wild is accidentally dropping his ego under the wheels of his truck...but at least I saw one, right ???

The only place I have seen people smoke e cigs is in a few nursing homes I've been in. I go in to draw blood from the residents there and I see a decent amount of them smoking e cigs when they see me

LOL! Grandma is buying on the co-ops, reselling to her resident friends :)

Where I live, it's a pretty small town (50 000k people or so). So I have never seen anyone vape in public except for a few of my friends here who I converted. I usually don't do it in stores or whatever as I normally only vape places / times I would smoke. I've converted 5 people now from the sagrits to PV's. I'm always trying to get people to switch im like the prophet of ecigs up here in North Bay lol. If I saw someone vaping in public I'd have to give him a high five or something!

Ive always found banning of cigarettes in bars and casinos rather funny and hypocritical at the same time so its nice to hear that the e-cig is gaining acceptance on those fronts.

Between gambling, drinking and smoking its almost infinitely arguable which is worse depending on ones perspective.

I recall reading that casino outfits were very reluctant to ban smoking, because smoking is a risk-taking behavior and they want risk takers.

I think I've posted in this thread before, and yet all these months later, it remains true -- the only people I see vaping in public are still people I personally persuaded to make the switch to vaping.

I have begun to see more signs of people vaping, however! A buddy of mine and I went to a nearby liquor store last week and, while we were there, he spotted eGo batteries, 510 cartomizers and nJoy Kings under glass at the counter. I'm not 100% confident of this, but I'm betting that if I had asked, we would have discovered that they carried somebody's ejuice offerings, too. Wouldn't make sense for them to stock the gear but no juice. So, clearly, somebody has been going into that liquor store and asking for vaping gear and juice.
