Outside of the vaping community vape meets etc and outside of the internet, how many people have you ever seen vaping?

I’m talking about the many people you pass going about your business etc and not necessarily people you know.

I saw two people I didn't know and still don't vaping today at a local event (which btw had no promotion or sale of E cig stuff), I couldn’t stop and say anything to either of them but I’ve never seen anyone vape before.

Not counting my v-verts, in the last couple of months I've seen at least a half dozen vapers in venues that surprised me. I don't roam around much, but it was great to see 'em!

I've only seen two. One was someone from out of state who was working with my husband...the person who introduced me to vaping. The second was recently at an auto salvage yard-I was trying to get a part for an old pickup truck and the mechanic who was pulling the parts had one of those cheap-o gas station throwaway 808's. Talked to him for about 20 minutes about quitting smoking, my Volt hardware, etc.

I wish I saw more people vaping...every one off the analogs is a good thing!

I seen this older "hill billy" lady at Wal-Mart last week smoking a eCig. I was really surprised/impressed! I live in a very small town right at the foot hills of the Applachian mountains so new technology is something we get here after it's hit every other major city so to see that i was very impressed. I thought "Wow, maybe more people are starting to keep a open mind about things!" i say this because she was older, not old-old but she was in her late 40's though. Most people of that age are "set in their ways" and don't like change, so i really enjoyed seeing that

So I have a little history to go through with this one. I was introduced to vaping by my brother, who was introduced by my mother, who was introduced by my cousin's husband. My counsin in law, ended up starting a vaping business with a few friends, but that is a different story. So, after I was introduced, I latched on, joined the ecf community, and started researching. Well, my mother and brother had struggled to make the switch, and had basically given up. However, I took some time with them, and my cousin-in-law made some time with them, and now not only has most of the smokers in my family switched, but many of my parent's friends have started to switch as well. I am see 50 year olds switching left and right!

However, I have not run across a vaper that I cannot trace back to my cousin-in-law. Everyone I know who is a vaper was introduced by either my mother or myself as that my cousin lives in Ohio.

I would love to meet other vapers here, but Lake Charles, LA is just about a decade behind the rest of the US in most things, vaping included.

I was kind of surprised by how few people have seen others vaping!

I was at a wedding of a friend (who I bought an Ego starter kit for as a wedding present) and there were six people that I didn't know vaping, along with the four people I did know.

There are nine of us currently vaping at my work.

I went out dancing a few weeks ago and saw at least four or five random strangers vaping.

I think a lot to do with the concentration of vapers is my location, though - I live in Tucson, AZ and so am lucky enough to be able to physically go into Freedom Smoke USA. The customer service there is absolutely phenomenal, and I think a lot of people might be more willing to try vaping if they can physically go somewhere and have a knowledgeable person help them set up their kit and show them what to do.
