I will admit I am amazed at how many people responded to my last post, it was a hit!!!! lol, new post is....How many people on here actually sub ohm and what do you sub ohm at??? I am not interested in hearing how "stupid it is to sub ohm" or maybe I am... lol, with how big a hit my last posting was... open for argumentation, I mean augmentation...fragmentation, oh well here goes...

Why is sub-ohming stupid? Think the lowest coil I built was a 0.9 Ohm and I wouldn't say that was stupid.

Ah...alot of people would agree with you on that but I am talking lower, I have customers in my vape shop that will risk more than I (although some say I am just as ignorant) going all the way down to .05 (no, not a typo) and no, I will not go that low, the farthest I have waded into that deep water is .08 (once again, not a typo) but I prefer no lower than .09, I can comfortably vape this low with nichrome 80 instead of kanthal (kanthal is too hot of a vape this low) and I use primarily vtc batteries but they are older now (so sad) and tried opening discussion on some other batteries I have in shop (I get them for 5 bucks at work so I have a collection continually growing lol) but that one ended horribly so now with such negative feedback on multiple previous posts I was wandering if anyone else vapes this low or close to it as it seems to me that my demographic in store is soooo much different than what is on here...

Actually it is not baiting, if you do not sub ohm then why post? I want to know if there are any other sub ohmers even present on this site that would venture where I do or even close, its just every time I contribute to a post someone has to trash talk me and act like I am the worlds most ignorant person when a huge percentage of my customers in shop prefer around .2 or lower and do not understand why there seems to be no one on this site who sub ohms around this level? The funny thing is I am asking about amp limits and such and everyone seems to assume that I use a single battery box mod this low and blow huge clouds in public places when neither of these things is true

Up to you but 0.09 ohms is 46A which is way above any battery that are around, but you didn't say what your running. IMO that low is just stupid because even if your battery can cope how accurate can you measure that resistance anyway. I don't care though you know the risks so it's your choice but unfortunately if you kill yourself all vapers look bad.

THE LOWEST coil I've ever vaped is a .7 ohm coil on Efest 3100 mH 20 mpa sitting on a Nemesis clone.

But, I am an Electronics tech and I repair schtuff all day that released its magic smoke.


I don't see the point of running that low. but I'm not a cloud chaser and until I bought this mod I thought the Mechanic folks were professional Russian Roulette'ers.

Life gets easy once you get old and no long give a rats petuety what others think.

Agreed to a certain extent but what I find interesting is no one bothers to ask what I am running this on before making me out to be the ignorant 18 year old vapor with a death wish, I run a two battery box mod in parallel (which does in fact double your amp rating) and whatever RDA I am in the mood to put on for the day lol. You can accurately measure your resistance that low if you have proper testing equipment (which I have) with no problems whatsoever. So in short even if the batteries I have are in fact just 20 amp batteries cont. and 35 pulse that still puts me at 40 amp cont. and 70 pulse so how is that stupid?

Its not. Most folks that have gotten themselves in trouble have never operated a DVM or heard of Pulsed amp rating.

Well...put it this way, any customer running that low is good for business {Moderated} lol, that being said I myself can get through a 30ml within 2 days or less (depending on chain vaping or trying to outdo customers in mini cloud comps lol

Sub ohm is awesome. Sub ohm gave me the best vaping experience I ever tried. I still use one variable device for when I have to go places where I cannot pull out a mech mod and blow vapor like a locomotive, but otherwise only dripping sub ohm. Depend on the mood anywhere from .9 to .2 dripping is king for me.

Still not the point I was making with that post, what I wanted was a link to a site that can show me what everyone says, I was not arguing that the statements were false, simply wanting a credible source I can pass along to my customers, I do not like not being sure when I have to sell a product and have nothing to go on but manufactuer statements (which i am well aware can be misleading)
