so is the 316l as cool a vape as nichrome?

I think most of the heat/cool is more related to the actual build and the airflow provided. I think the heat generated is fairly consistent because of the power output. But im not really a 100% sure to be honest.

well, only read the first two posts, an ain't going to bother reading the rest and get straight to the dice prospective, or something like that:lol:

Fact is, that with most of the gear being currently produced, such as the Cloupor T6, T8, God mod, Sigelei 100, and mechanicals, one has to sub ohm to get the best purrformance out of their gear. Fact, the T8 comes with a card stating best purrformance is found 0.5-0.8 ohms. Have found this to be true, though they fire builds low as 0.15 and high as like 3 ohms, experience way to much voltage drop when out of the "target" ohm range. Which makes total sense when looking at the circuit design, ohm's law, loads and amp draw.

Sub ohm can be, and is totally safe, provided one knows their vape chit, and has the skills. Currently don't have anything over 0.72 ohms, and average ~0.40 I tension wrap all me coils, so can usually hit within +/- 0.04 of the target objective.

the best of me best, is an 0.23 ohm tri-coiled, Gus Estia 510, rba tank system. Which is mounted on the 26650 copper El Gigante, in hybrid mode. Vape just doesn't get any better.:D

Vape is progressive, the longer one vapes, the better their gear, skills, and vape becomes. But one never puts an infant behind the wheel of a funny car and says, have fun son. Now that would be stupid me thinks. or something like that.

Vape long and Prosper.!!!

Agreed on being fairly consistent, until you drop below the dreaded .1 lol, But you said you have done .16? Is that comfortable vape in your setup or hotter than your .18?

No real noticeable difference in heat only more loss in flavor. i have hit some .08 builds and i just didnt like it. It was really blaaaa and just dried my mouth out. .14 .16 and .18 all seem to vape the same except the flavor gets more muted the lower it goes. so .18 seems to just be the spot for me.

well, me lowest build is on the Magma by Paradigm, it's 0.16, dual verts. Run her straight mech on a Torched El Sigilo Zodiac Mod (Dragon) by Wutang House of Mods. Don't get any appreciable gains on the boxes, because of the high amp draw,

Currently have the flashi V2 on the T6, using a 0.71 ohm single coil. Cruising at 50 watts very nicely, pushed her up to 100, but had to do that in dripper mode, till the wick gets seasoned in. But gets pretty intense that high.:D

I won't build any lower than what the continuous amp ratting of the batt can sustain. If it accidently locked in firing mode, I'd rather wake up to a sweet smell and a dead batt, than in the ER. :D

Hey so I did some digging, you think 316l 24 gauge (soft) if it is surgical grade is okay to use? I found 50 feet for like 5 bucks...Just wondering your thoughts

I can get down with that, it seems to me most people who do drop low on this forum will not venture below .16, for me I just like the density I can get out of the lower vapes although flavors do get muted with a chain vaping session I will admit but for me it is psychological... I can not blow clouds on cigs and this is what keeps me on the vape and only the vape

Agreed if we are speaking about a mech mod, what do you run and what are your go to batteries?

Any mech mod will do the trick. I have quite few of them but my favorite is a Panzer. As for dripper I have also lots of them. My favorite tho is IGO W6 and IGO W15. W6 is a a quad coil and the W15 is a 3 coil. I love them both but my absolute favorite is the IGO W15. Is bulky but so easy to build and the flavor is Godlike.

I'm hunting now for a variable device who can take the abuse of .25 ohm. I tried an IPV2 who claims it can hold as low as 0.2 ohms but actually cannot so from now I won't buy anything unless I try it before I buy it.
I don't use .2 every time but sometimes I;m just in the mood for some rock'n'roll so I need the box to allow me to go as low as 0.2 ohm. I won't buy any box with one single battery tho. I need one with two batteries.

I keep my Plume veil around .35, with a Chuff tip you never get a hot vape

On my kayfuns I usually keep around a .4 in there. My kayfuns aren't your typical tho, - You might as well call them a dripper with a tank because they'll out rip most drippers - HEAVILY modified

So... are you implying that at a .09 running kanthal it would not be hot as long as you had a chuff on it?
