I do not purchase it from ebay although you can easily get it that way as jewelry wire ss 316l. But I do have a more reliable source and it costs me about 10cents per foot.

There are readily available tests on the wire and statements about its safety in relation to vaping. I am definately not going to do all the leg work for you like i did in your battery thread.
See now that makes more sense to me and I do not think being a new member (2 days old lol) and not many postings or comments (until the last posting lol, I think I shot up like double with just that posting and it was anything but polite lol) does not help my situation...

Theres several of us that will try to steer them back towards protected waters unless we get the feeling they actually know what they are doing.

Pretty new to sub-ohm but currently running 0.35 using dual coil s and 28ga tiger wire. Lower than that is just too hot for me and probably is not good for you,
Using lower resistance wire like Nichrome is something I have yet to try as with the new dna 40 chip and temp control at super low ohms due to the wire you have to use. When everyone has one of these we will all be vaping at lower ohms regardless!

It doesnt mean they will actually know what kind of fire they are playing with though...
Nichrome 80 is NOTICEABLY cooler than kanthal which is another reason I use it or else it would absolutely not be an enjoyable vape lol, I am going to experiment with 316l now though and see what results I can get

Careful where you tread in these waters lol, not talking crap, just friendly advice. I am new to this site as well although definitely not new to vaping but this site can rile up unexpected responses lol (I am speaking from two days of experience on this site and have already received an infraction and riled up like ten or more other members lol) (oh another side note, it was all MY fault too, nobody knows who you are on this site and I learned that the hard way

Its almost the only wire i use in my sub builds for drippers now. Kanthal is reserved for the tanks or flavor builds in a dripper.
hey guys nice debate ! can you checks ohm only with a ohm checker or will real VOM work ??
A DMM will work just fine. Make sure to touch your leads together to get the internal resistance of your meter and subtract that from your measurement of your atomizer.
You can check it with a DMM, although trying to hold the leads in place can sometimes be annoying but a real 510 ohm reader is preferred by most
