I love smoking, not only because of the nicotine but also because I like to sit back and reflect a lot on life. Smoking gives me a nice mellow feeling, the smoke rising in the air provides a hypnotic like state :). I'm thinking of converting over to e-cigs, but am wondering if it will end off being more expensive. I should just quit completely, but I really do enjoy smoking.

At anyrate.. I am a Newport 100 smoker, I have cut back to about a pack a day but a couple of weeks ago I was hitting 2 1/2 to 3 packs a day. I would estimate per cig, I would get about 15 - 18 puffs. When I smoke, I enjoy a nice deep inhale. The feeling of smoke hitting the back of my throat, and the expansion in my lungs is what I am looking for.

So, I am curious if one cartridge (or 3 - 4 drops of e-liquid) would give me about the same amount of puffs. If it ends up to the point where it costs me more than $150 a month I figure I'll just give up on the luxury all together. But, in reality I would like to keep it up for a while. Even if I eventually switch over to nicotine free smoking.

I also wanted to mention, I have two children under the age of 4. One of the main concerns is having to constantly refill. Essentially, what I would want to do is keep all of the liquid locked up in a back room. The reason why I am curious of how many puffs I can get, is because I don't want to keep running in the back room every three or four puffs. At the same time, I don't want to have any of the e-liquid within reach of my kids.

Refilling every couple of hours is fine, but running back and fourth would seem to defeat the purpose of achieving any pleasure I would get from it. What I am basically looking for, is to be able to vape for about the same amount of puffs I get from an analog (15 -20).

At anyrate, thanks for any info.

I'm a chain-vaper and I do feel like I need to top off my cart a lot with liquid. I'm new at this so I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong but I always have a bottle nearby. You can buy bottles that have child-safe tops on them. Maybe get a lock box for your supplies? Or, perhaps just keep a bottle in your pocket? I don't think it would be too bad.

I've read a lot of people have to top off or drip for each vaping session. I probably do this even more.

Damn, that is quite a bit more than I thought it would give out. Thanks for the info.

THe key is getting the cart thoroughly saturated. That is why a needle oiler works so well. All the advantages of a syringe with the juice built in.
Here is what it looks like:

Here is where I got mine:
3 pack Precision Oiler - Needle Tip Oiler Bottle 1/2 oz - eBay (item 350189096492 end time Aug-08-09 07:47:32 PDT)
