I have THREE Broken ones. Didn't even last three months. SMOK Mods are cheap junk.
Sounds like bad luck man... My Majesty Luxe seems to be doing fine, bought it in may. I'm even certain that the chip in it is better than in Steam Crave Hadron or Eleaf Pico Squeeze 2, at least where safety is concerned

I've gone through 5 Smok high power mods in the past 2 years. They look great and vape very well. The big problem is that the battery compartments are made from weak plastic and break easily when dropped. By dropped I mean accidentally knocked off of my desk which is not a long drop. I can't afford to keep replacing a mod every few months.

I do have 4 TFV-12 tanks that I use on my current mod.

A handful of Tanks that came with RBA sections I am a big fan of that. Not so much when they release the RBA separate but when it comes in the tank kit I will buy it 9 out of 10 times. And I have a Majesty because purple resin and it came with a tank that had an RBA kit. That's a pretty nice device in my opinion it's a little bit weird to turn off but I like it

I only have 2 Smok devices that I bought before becoming a vape reviewer. Both still function like day one, these are oldies but goodies.

I thought I'd try the Smok Novo 2, as I saw it was popular and wanted a refillable pod system that is easy to use {draw activated}, relatively cheap, and liked the
way it looked - I tried it and I liked it - So bought two more in different colors plus a bunch of pods.

It works well and in a month of use not one pod has burnt out and apparently, as I just got some high vg juice {80/20} on a closeout sale and it works fine even with the higher vg juice - but I suggest drawing slower with the higher vg juice.

Only one minor complaint - I wish it was longer.

One of my favorite devices in the commercial big tobacco systems was the Vuse vibe - felt like a small cigar in my hand, which I liked. But when they outlawed the flavored cartridges, Melon was really good, I had to go elsewhere as what they call natural flavor tastes lousy.

So I tried the Smok Novo with watermelon and also natural type flavors and I'm satisfied.

Does Smok have a draw activated pod system {with coil built in to the pod} like the Smok Novo but that is longer in size?

Smok makes some great products. I own more than I will admit publicly. Over the years I have only had one go bad on me, and that was due to a freak connector problem (which actually could of been fixed, but I am known to be quite lazy at times).

Vaping is a very personal thing and I would not let the negative comments here keep you from purchasing what is an excellent, inexpensive, and proven product line.

If you are satisfied with what you have then you are much farther ahead of the game than most of us. Personally I think the X is better, but a stopgap upgrade. Smok loves to make tons of products for no apparent reason. But I have yet to find one I did not like for one reason or another.

Before I went completely smokeless about 2 years ago I was only smoking pipes and cigars - both, especially pipes are more than a smoking experience - they are hobbies - And pipe smokers often like to own a lot of pipes and accessories - Now they can own a lot of vapes and accessories, and they actually have some vape devices that are designed just like a traditional pipe - Recommend any?

Switching to vaping is easy for a pipe smoker as many vape flavors are similar to pipe tobacco flavors - And many pipe smokers love to tinker with different devices- Like I say a hobby.

Also, pipe smokers usually don't inhale - Easy to do the same thing with vape if you want to keep the vape out of your lungs - Just use a denser vape cloud device or flavor and puff away.

Still I've yet to try a flavor that really tasted like a cigar - Know of any companies selling a vape juice that really has a cigar like flavor?

I have no problems, and I'm quite satisfied with my NOVO 2 {Is the Novo X any better?} - I bought 2 extra Novo 2 as back-ups and haven't yet had the need to open the packages,

Sometimes I wonder if the anti-Smok posters are working for competing companies ???
I don’t work for the competition. I really like the smok mods I was using. I still use my smok tanks but the mods are too fragile and break very easily. I have a geek vape aegis now and it is built much stronger.

I don't own any Smok products and can't say whether they are any good.

I suspect that Smok is all about promoting the "brand", making profits, and dominating the ecig market. Their ribbon cutting ceremony for their new headquarters seems a little too "corporate" for me. They even had cheesecake girls. SMOK new headquarters marketing base is found and celebrated | VAPE HK
This seems to go against the countercultural, DIY ethic of vaping. Yeah, maybe ecigs are a maturing industry, but I don't vape to support greedy corporations.

I see vape shops pushing the Smok brand and it makes me wonder if the pricing makes it very profitable to the shops to do so.

When I was still using low power older technology, one of my vaping pals pulled out shiny new smok units and was blowing big clouds that made me feel inferior. I asked him if that's a SMOK, and got a slightly condescending affirmative answer. That traumatic experience during my vaping childhood is the main reason why I will not buy a Smok today.
