Nice typo, "carots". Kind of like carats, credits you may get on your life every time you don't light up!
If you keep them topped up they will last longer. I get some use out of washing them but sometimes it works well and sometimes it doesn't. Once they taste burnt, I toss them no matter what. There is nothing that will ever completely get the crud off of the coils and it's better to be safe.
..you're vaping carots??? WOW, do they taste orange or ??? (I'm sorry, couldn't help myself)...it sounds like you are only vaping around 1ml/day...I vape around 5 so, your cartos should last 5 times longer than mine or at least a couple of weeks...when they get hard to draw or the taste get way off, it will be time to change the carto........

It depends on several factors...what voltage are you using it at (higher voltages will cause them to die quicker), what type of juice are you using (high vg, dark, or a tobacco extract juice will cause them to die quicker), and how frequent of a vaper are you? I like high voltage vaping and use any type of juice that suits my taste buds. I can get anywhere from one day to months out of a carto...it just depends. Keeping them wet constantly is a must...a dry carto will pop a coil fairly quick and/or burn the filler material which then it's toast. Since they are fairly cheap to buy, use one until either the flavor really starts to dull or the draw gets hard...if they last you a few days at $1-$2 a carto, you're still ahead of the game.
