I see people saying it's a night and day difference from a fixed-voltage eGo battery... what if I have an eGo Twist? Is the difference in going from a VV eGo to the Vamo still very big? I've been thinking about picking up a Vamo but the size kinda bothers me. I like my little eGo batts.. If it's definitely worth it though, I'd get used to the size.

i get my fast tech stuff in about 8 days.

Me too. But now they have the below notice on their site -

As we celebrate the Dragon Boat Festival holiday (June 12, 2013), support tickets and orders placed immediately around this time may take 1 extra day to process. We apologize for this and thank you for your understanding.

I assume there is a backlog of orders. I ordered a V2 for my wife on the 12th, and the order status only shows "In Progress/Full payment received".

The vamos VW feature alone makes it better IMO. This way you set your watts, and vape. No matter what your resistance is, the vamo automatically adjusts the voltage. The size is not that big IMO, I don't mind it at all. Its smaller than I thought it was going to be after reading peoples complaints to how big it is.

Fits well in my hands...

Have ordered from FT 3 times and delivery time= 11, 9 and 8 days.

Use my Vamo at home and Spinners when I go out.

N01 is AVG mode
N02 is RMS (Root Mean Square) mode. This will be a more reliable and accurate method of delivering consistently accurate voltage.

When the Vamo works at AVG (N01) status, it may produce much stronger power on the same atomizer than working at RMS status. It will likely damage your atomizers greatly.

I strongly suggest you to use only RMS (N02) status, because RMS status will perform very well.

Please do NOT try AVG (N01) status if you are not a veteran.

Lots of great info found here...

the evic has the time, calender sleep mode, usb charger, thermal protection. looks better. comes with an actual manual pretty box, battery, what else. it's like buying a cadillac. but not to say the vamo is a skateboard, it just isn't as luxurious as the evic. I'm thinking about getting one just for the cool factor. usefulness of the bells and whistles, that can be debated.

My Vamo accidently got switched to the AVG setting and I didn't know it. I noticed that all of a sudden my vaping was horrible. I kept getting burnt hits and was having to run my voltage really low and still couldn't get good flavor. I was about to take it back to my local shop for warranty when I happened to remember the N01/N02 settings. Sure enough it was set wrong. Set it back and wow what a difference that made. Got my vape back!! :vapor:

Got 4 Vamos and love them all! Granted 2 are still in the box and haven't been fired up except to test them... The 2 I use are my go-to units and you can't beat them for reliability... I got mine from Vapor Break, but FastTech has some great prices right now and they've got free shipping and super fast service... I've ordered a bunch of other stuff from FastTech and never had a problem...

I love my VAMO! It stays home all day, and waits for me. I would be heartbroken if I lost it! I started vaping 2 months ago with and eGo and got the VAMO to celebrate 1 month smoke free about a month ago. No, you don't have to draw harder on it...it's an easy draw. If you don't like the airy draw of the ProTank, then I would not recommend using it on the VAMO. I find the ProTank very airy on it! I use Evods on mine, with an adapter (510-eGo adapter). It sits better on the VAMO with the adapter and for some reason I have trouble with Evods firing on the VAMO without the adapter. Others have not experienced it, but it works for me. By hitting harder, I think they mean you get more vapor and throat hit by adjusting wattage on it, and it's a BIG difference from the vapor you are getting with the eGo's. Good Luck!

The Vamo v2 is an absolutely amazing mod for it's price. I have a pro-vari mini and recently got my girlfriend a Vamo v2 to start vaping and the thing hits very smooth and the VV is awesome. My pro-vari set up is about 350 bucks and the vamo v2 is about 100 and its the same just about. I prefer the vamo with some juices and I prefer my pro-vari with others. Anyways, vamo v2 truly an awesome mod, reccomend it to anyone
