How much do you spend on vaping per month?

Been using disposables on and off for about 7 months. Probably spent about 200 on those. But about two weeks ago I decided to go ahead and try to quit tobacco completely (mainly dip). Just added it all up and I'm at just under $320. $180 of it on juice, $70 on a starter kit, and $70 on different delivery systems. I don't have to spend another dime I would be about even by the end of august. I'm really happy with that. But I'm sure I'll feel the need to buy something more expensive before then.

My first post to this forum.

I've experienced what most here seem to have. I've been feeling my way through the delivery systems and available liquids. I have made a few false starts but I'm starting to get the hang of it. As this is a replacement habit for me, the idea of being without a working package and my favorite juices was at first a concern but now after a couple of months I'm starting to see what I like and what I don't like. The start of any new thing is always the hardest and most expensive part but as with others here, I'm starting to standardize and swap into the things I like. I try many juices but only seem to like a few, preferring dark, creamy and smoother flavors. I have a draw full of juices I have tried and rejected as I've learned I'm not a big juicy fruit, mint or watermelon fan.

I can see where going out and buying good equipment at the start is a money saver, but as a few have, I have bought some turkeys and some winners. Appreciate the input of older hands who have suggested a few useful things among them settling in on what you like as far as juice is concerned and focusing on getting a good mod or two, a few good tanks that deliver what you like and getting down to business. That's my plan. Also appreciate the suggestion of tempering the off the shelf juice I like with 50/50 nic juice; sounds like a good idea as a start to rolling my own.

I spent way too much in 3 weeks on different fluids additional batteries clearomizers, cartomizers etc... I have put a stop to the spending now and should be able to last a month or so on the supplies I have. Definitely spending more than I did rolling my own but I'm moving across country next week and I don't want to run out of anything and buy analogs. So its worth it.

I was just thinking.. Right now I'm just getting started on this vape thing (again)
and I keep ordering stuff and I'm thinking, wait, I didn't even get my first Ego yet!
My first order was one 1300mah/CE4 with 60ml of juice and a assortment of tanks.

Then I thought again, Wait! what if I need another battery? So order number 2!
One more 1300mah/CE4 and a few more tanks.

Then (here I go, thinking again) 1300mah batteries are kinda long. If if I'm on the bike
and I have no place for it? So, order number 3 go's in along with another 30ml of juice
and a 650mah/CE4...and... you guessed it. More carts..

Then thinking again, (man, my .... hurts from all this thinking) This e-juice is starting
to add up fast.. I wonder how I can do this myself and save a little cash without killing
myself? That thought got me here and then to a 4th order ( I hate you people lol)
Now I have Nic, PG, VG and a big handful of flavors on the way..

Does it ever stop! After reading more here I'm working on my next order already..
Now I want one of them big battery MOD things and a few RDA's and a drip atty.
However, I think I'm going to wait til next week.

Oh, I suspect we all get a little nuts at first. It's something new and different and fun. After a while, you get settled in and get a better idea what what works and what you like and you can be more selective and all.

On the other hand, how much is your health worth to you? I mean, that is one way to look at it. Cancer is really expensive...

(By the way, my cost is running between $20 to $30 a month lately. It's possible to do this thing in expensively after that first hardware investment.)

I think I've been at this for about a month now, and I've certainly spent more than I'm really happy about. It's like a lot of hobbies though, that initial buy-in takes a bit more than the eventual maintenance will. I bought a $30 starter kit(900mah ego batt, and 2 T3S), then about a week later I bought a 1300mah VV batt, iclear 16 and LR atomizer...as well as various juices. Last week I ordered an itaste SVD and a bunch of "stuff". Hopefully I'll be good for a few months on the big stuff, and will just be buying juices and delivery systems. I'm in the class that vapes more than they used to smoke though so I've spent more so far than I usually did smoking. My wife is happier though, so there's that :)

Just under a two month newbie. Ordered an 808 starter kit and five 10 mil bottles of juice from another company. Then got an upgraded 808 from the first company (more MAH) and an atomiser for vaping, adapter, another seven 10 ml samples from the second company. Probably looking at around $180.00 for a 'start-up. Maybe the Halo Triton (1300 mah by memory) for the next upgrade if I want. Happy with the second (350 mah) starter for now. We'll see of course...so many options, upgrades, and things to throw money at!
