Well, it really depends on where you are in the journey...
And whether or not you treat this as a hobby...
And whether or not you can be satisfied with what works instead of what is perfect...
And how much you have stocked up already...
And how much you used to smoke...
At this point in my journey, not treating this as a hobby, being satisfied with what I have, and having stocked up a lot...
I spend nothing unless I want to.
I have spent nothing in four of the last six months.
And in the other two months I spent about $70 on drip tips and some sample juices.
I do anticipate spending a little more soon, on some of the samples I really liked.
Out of about 30 samples, I'll probably be getting more FreedomSmokeUSA RY4 and some more Johnson Creek Tennesee Cured.

For me, I have about 350 invested, and have about 130 ml. of juice, an ego kit, 2 510's (kit) with 4 total, batts, 8 Atomizers, plenty of empty carts, and of course a box of lipton pyramid tea bags. got almost a month analog free, and am probably about a break even or slightly worse. But I have about 3 months supply of juices, at least.
Once my juice collection is where I want it (100 more) , I figure we vape 30 to 60 ml. per month at the most. which is somewhere around 30-40 bucks depending on who I am ordering juices from.
Its going to be tough to limit the juice buying because it is so fun trading it on PIF.

10 bucks or less. If I had a guess, I'd say I haven't spent more than $170 on vaping, total.
I got set up with a DIY set immediately, got involved with PIF, and I take really, really good care of my stuff. Gotta make it last, because I don't have the money to replace stuff. I keep it simple. I do have some variety, but I don't have a lot of anything.
In fact, the only things I've bought since my first purchase (kit, spare parts, 20ml of juice and a DIY set-up) is a PCC, a couple packs of cartos, and $15 worth of juice. Other than that... nothing but shipping costs.

I don't spend much anymore, the occasional restock of unflavored nic, but I just bought a 500ml so I'm good there, some cartomizers (blank) of course and some flavoring. Probably won't spend anything for a while now. Got enough batteries and atomizers in case, drip tips and such and I DIY with my liquids now so I don't have to buy anything but flavorings. It's become really inexpensive now and I maintain my equipment like Mistress because I really can't afford to be dropping a ton of money on it. Found what I like and I'm going to leave it at that.
With the kit my husband just purchased and the items I have bought, we've spent roughly about what we spend a month on our cigarettes. We would buy our cartons 2x a month at $140 worth each time, so right now, we've about broke even for what we would have spent on butts. I can see myself buying a bunch of stuff in the near future, just because I'm loving it and there are just SOOOO many flavors to try and I'm itching to do the DIY thing. But I'm sure soon enough, I'll be spending a max of about 40-60 a month on juices and replacement/extra parts. So to answer the poll, I would say at a maximum, once we're all set up and satisfied, $15 a week (not including shipping costs.)

I spend tooo much..mor than I did smoking sadly....I live in the southeast USA and a cheap pack of ciggs aren't but 3 bucks
Nope, it's not just you. Once a week isn't enough! But hey, getting off the analogs makes it worth it as far as I'm concerned.
So far I have spent $211 on kits, juice and 2 usb PT's for my wife and I. We have over a months supply of juice on hand and I am going to start DIY this weekend. Starting with 0mg nic and going from there.

I am spending a whole lot now - part of it is not being satisfied - I have not found a pv or an e-juice that I really love - but most is paranoia, I am afraid not that i have found a way to quite smoking it will be taken away from me.
Thus, besides keeping an eye out for the perfect pv, I am always buy more of what I don't need. I bought 7 atomizers this week - though I normally use cartomizers - simply because they were on sale and will come in handy if outlawed, I also bought 10 more cartomizers - even though I have over 100 on hand and 125ml of 100mg/ml - even though I have about 3/4 a liter of 48mg/ml on hand, again afraid of e-cigs being outlawed.
I so don't want to go back to smoking - and I hate being ruled by fear.

I try to spend less than $40 a week, but these darn suppliers on here keep having GREAT sales! lol

Yea, one of these weeks I'll spend less on e-cigs than than I spent on cigs, but it's tough because I was buying untaxed cigs for $35 a carton. I keep that in mind as an excuse, lol

boyohboy...I hear you loud and clear on the paranoia aspect. Me, too! I try to follow what's happening in the movement against ecigs but the truth is, every article or news bite I read it produces fear. I'm not going ostrich or anything but still...can almost feel my blood pressure go up with some of the bad news I hear.
My weekly outgoing for juices/atties etc is still less than my weekly outgoing for cigarettes was - now that I have my 'right' PV and 'fave' juices, so Im just buying replacement stuff with the occasional new juice tryout
At first I was spending more but that was really only the first 2 weeks while I got supplies and parts - Im pretty sure I broke even a while back as some weeks now I spend nothing at all. I tend to buy juice about twice a month roughly.

i used to spend a lot more than $10 a week, but i've finally settled into what works for me so my vaping budget has reduced drastically. it's hard to say when i'll break even, but it's been totally worth it.
I was a light smoker; am a light vaper; DIY my own juice; flavor supplier is local.
Can't beat that. I'm glad to be vaping and find it quite affordable.

I'm pretty well stocked up so I don't spend too much now,but I still go to all the sites to window shop.
