Ya you're probably OK with 1100. I know in the early days I spend close to 100 bucks each on ego starter kits and bought several for myself and my son. I thought I was done till VA released the Pink Valkyrie and of course had to get that for my lady. I have 3 other full size and two mini valks.....Ya it can get expensive. Hang in there could get worse *smiles*

I dont even want to know...if I start thinkin about it......Im at the four year mark too this month and I WISH I was only at 1100 $ worth! (congrats!)

Then again.."saving money" wasnt really an objective when I got into this and it's become a "pleasure" I indulge in like anything else.....
if I had to make do I could probably stop buying for a few years and live fine on what I already have....Vaping is like anything else (food, clothes etc.),it's entirely possible to make do with just the basics if you need/want/ever HAVE to.... ;)

From January 2 until today (just picked up an iStick 50w and a Kanger Subtank Mini), I have spent $954. This includes both gear and juice and I have enough juice to last me until this summer or fall. Even if I have to spend an additional $500 on juice (I use about 3 ml a day) through the end of the year, I will have saved $2,000 versus smoking.

started vaping at the beginning of November 2014, spent over $1500 since then... My shinyitis is calming down now that I have found the tanks (Evod 2's, Cloupor Cloutank C2's, and Mini Protank 2's) and batteries (IStick, IStick Mini 10W, and MVP 2.0) I like. Not into cloud chasing or sub ohm so these fit me well. Plus the tanks all take the same coils that I have learned to rebuild. I also DIY my juice now after trying over 100 different flavors and brands. To each their own.

Started vaping Dec 2014 and, with the exception of $145 spent in e-liquid at a local vape shop, have purchased everything on line, so its easy for me to track and total up. So far I've spent $1056.23. But, I'm now at the point where I have everything that I need (yah, right ), so the spending should go down.

Peter

P.S. Those are Canadian dollars, so, it's what, $200.00 U.S?

I did a quick calculation, and got the figure of £10,000 saved in the last four years of not smoking cigarettes. During the majority of that period I guess I spent about £1,500 on vaping. However, in the last six months since I got into mods and drippers, I have spent at least that amount again. I have a wicked nasty case of shineyitus and with the new tech thats been coming out recently, it's become a hobby rather than just a replacement for smoking. Which is how I'm justifying the expendature to myself... :p

I'll just say that my "break-even" date hasn't arrived yet and leave it at that.

But considering I've spent somewhere between $30,000 and $40,000 on cigarettes with nothing to show for it, I am at peace with my expenditures.

I'm with you! 41 years of smoking puts me at somewhere between $50-$60K wasted on cigs and cigars, and I was killing myself!

I don't even want to think about how much I've spent on cigarettes over the past 30+ years. Before I started vaping, I can count on one hand the total number of days that I went without smoking a cigarette. That's almost 11,000 packs of cigarettes, stretching from when was paying $1.25 a pack when I started to $9.50 a pack when I quit.

I am coming up to my two year mark smoke free. and just with one juice company alone I am hitting a $1000.00. Not to mention hardware and a foray into diy. If I added it all up I would probley need to buy some new underware. But it is still better than being sick all the time, coughing up a storm, and giving my money to BT and the goverment.
