I'm about 4 weeks in. Been without regular cigs for 9 weeks, no issues. I'm not a nic addict I just like smoking. :)

$55 on a kit at my local smoke shop. 2 ego batteries, 2 top coil clearomizers (yuk).

$25 on 2 small bottles of e-liquid

$65 from vapingzone for bottom coil clearomizers (much better!) + three more juices

$50 more to vapingzone for more clearomizers and coils (stocking up)

$60 total to avejuice and velvet cloud vapor for some supposedly high end juices

so just about $255. seems worth it for a fun hobby. a few guys at my office vape and now I'm already the "advanced" guy.

All said and done about $550 for PV and tanks and juice in 8 months... So a lot less then I would have on cigs by now. Of course my firs 6-7 months I didn't know about this site.... Spending has definitely increased since I found ECF

I think we can all relate to that. Damn you ecf !

I've been at it around 7 months now and I'm in aroooooooouuuuunnnnd $275 I would say. That's not out of necessity, though. That's just me wanting to experiment. If you find something that works, stick with it if you can, otherwise you'll put out some money. But, there's really no way to find out what you like without buying more and more. lol. Just think of it this way ... $300 per year approximately versus a couple of grand in smoking. Everybody wins! :D

I agree with what your saying but maintenance became an issue. I was using a couple of Kanger T3's and they worked fine, but after a couple of tanks i found their performance diminished and i would have to rebuild. Having so many coils i would end up having to recoil all of them regularly so eventually i gave up on them and moved on to something else. You get what you pay for and T3 clearos are pretty cheap.

Erm not sure if I want to know! But let's see:

$49 on some ecigs from a kiosk at the mall (complete waste for me. :( But I didn't know any better as I haven't found this site yet)
$45 on Halo G6 starter kit (Found an Ecig that I like and still use it today here and there)
$90 on EVOD starter kit (I was soooo impatient waiting for the G6 kit and determined to quit I went to my local B&M. Over priced I know but it worked!)
$72 on Evod Tanks
$65 on Mini Protank 2 (both static tip and removable drip tips)
$70 on 2 itastes VV 3.0
$20 Evod battery (had to replace a battery that got lost in a toilet)
$40 Vision Spinner from my B&M Store (just a impulse buy and WOWZERS! Love this battery! my first foray into VV batteries.)

So where does that put me right now? $451???!!! *faints*

Since I started, before today, about 75 bucks (Evod kit and some ejuices), after today and my impulse buy of a VTR and a bunch more juice about, $225. At 5.00 a pack of my old analog brand and 3 packs a week I should break even in about 3 months and 3 weeks (that sounds a lot worse than when I did the math in my head, LOL.)

Wow, I would be embarrassed to admit how much we have spent between the wife and I. I would say it is several thousand dollars counting what we bought to resell. I have not kept track, but I would say after three years we are probably about even now, because we have resold a lot to family, friends, co-workers, neighbors etc.

In a little over 2 months I have spent about $220 on juice, nic, pg/vg, bottles, syringes. $60 on three egos and one spinner. $90 on clearos and coil heads.

Already ordered: a SVD and 2 cheap mech mods ($90), more clearos ($60), some cheap RDA and RBAs, kanthal and wick ($100), and need to buy batteries and charger (about $70?) So about $690?

Then I'll be right for everything for pretty much ever except for flavouring concentrates and more PG and VG as I need them, as I have a lot of nicotine liquid to DIY

While i dont WANT to spend a lot on vaping- cost is just ONE of the reasons i wanted to quit analogs. Health, smell, social stigma, lifespan, bad example for my kids... kicked all those more or less with ecigs. If at worst i spend the SAME $$, its still a huge win. Plus, Im sure I wont spend $3k a year vaping like i did on smokes. But if i did, id be OK with it if im healthier!

I've been vaping now for 5 days and my spend is about £150, so about $240 US.
I've currently got 2x ego batteries and half a dozen liquids, but I've an itaste vv v3 & MVP on order as well as another 10x 10ml juices.
My spend on tobacco was about £32/$50 pw, so if I don't spend any more on vaping in the next 4 weeks I'll break even - I doubt that's gonna happen.
