Way i see it, as soon as you've found the right flavours you soon get bored of smoking.
I am in for around 250 or so right now and don't have much to show for it. I was very impatient and didn't want to wait the 2 days for shipping so I purchased everything from the smoke shop down the street. Paid 99 for my svd. About 40 for 2 tanks, another 25 for a Protank 2, another 10 for a no name tank, and around 65 or 70 on juices. Oh and I have a 5 finger discount sampler pack on the way from hat trick vapor for another 20. If i would have done all of this shopping online it would have been half that..

Probably around 200 dollars, and mostly because I started with the disposable ones. And the first one I bought was broken and I didn't know as I'd never vaped before.... so I just kept trying to suck ice-cream through a straw and thinking the whole vape experience was a load of BS, lol. And I bought two of everything because I didn't want to get caught having to turn to a ciggy.
Yup sounds about the same for me.
Taking the next step can be costly (high end mods, rebuildables, meters, tools, etc). Just depends on where you want to take it. I spent close to 2 grand in the past few months but now I have a pretty good selection of hardware, plus a good collection of juice, hand tools, accessories. I probably won't need anything for a while now, but it cost a bit to get everything setup.

I don't even wanna imagine how much I've spent but I'm sure its a lot less then how much I've saved from getting off analogs, money and health wise.

I feel the same way as ^. Don't wanna think about the money. I can't walk in a vapor store without spending $50-75 and its a weekly thing. I've had countless ego's, two evic's, a vamo v1, and a magneto. That's just the mods. I've got batteries galore, and way to many different types of tanks. I don't believe in a best or worst. Just a preferred or purposed. They all have their place.
I am about 2 months in and have spent about $500-600. I dont worry about the cash that much as I was spending 70/week on a carton.

Pre-vape disposables about $65, not to mention still buying analogs. Switching to ego-T, clearomizer's, & liquids, about $110. I was spending $40 a month on analogs, I'm hoping to be in the black within 6 months of vaping.
$500 in a month so far, wife said I could have bought an xbox one instead but what fun would that be
I have probably spent 400.00 I have bought about 10 different tanks and 4 mods after going thru egos like crazy but I was buying three cartons of cigs a month plus several trips to a pulmonary Dr. with copd starting to affect my health
I think the initial outlay is a lot, but bottom line is it is less than smoking cost me
