First run at vaping was total of around $215, the only reason it was that high was because that was starting with a cigalike and almost immediately going to an Ego. Even though I only actually vaped for about 4 months that was still a whole lot cheaper than it would've been for cigs over that same period of time. Just 2 days ago started vaping again when I got my MVP v2 in the mail (Ego batts still actually work after about 5 years, I'm impressed) that order was about $120 (both those totals involve juice, extra bits, etc). so the grand total is $335 ish, which doing the math works out to the same amount of cigarettes as I'd have bought in about 1 month and 10 days (that's at today's cig prices in my state), didn't realize how crazy that was till I just did the math, now I'm off to look at some more mods and juice to buy guilt free

$15 for 100+ feet of wire

$75 for brass nemi, launcher v2, 2 drippers, 5 drip tips, bottles, and 100' of braided scillica
$2 for cotton balls.
So, $380 to figure out what I'm doing.. then $152 to set myself up for a year.

I bought the inferno then the iTaste SVD then the nemesis clone with a nimbus rda $300-350
So !!.....been saving for a few weeks for a Provari. Today i pushed the button. Decided to import one from the usa because i couldn't find what i wanted in the uk. So i ordered a polished stainless steel Provari v2.5 with green LED, extension end cap, plus postage and packaging. Total $261.85 - (£159.50).
Sick! I got the black chrome one (still waiting for it in the mail) and I'm going to have a Kanger ProTank 3 w/Red Pyrex sitting on top of it.
As for the continuance of this thread, I just spent another $20 at the local shop getting a new stainless steel drip tip and 2 coils for my Aspire tank. All in all, that puts me at about $160 so far that I've invested into vaping products/gear.
Just spent another$35 at Madvapes.com for an 18650 Sidewinder Mod and a 510 to eGo adapter. I'm so hopeless! LOL. That brings me up to $195 spent so far!

UPDATE: Today is my three year anniversary. The first year I went a bit hog wild on hardware, in quantity rather than quality. Some of it was the latest if not the greatest, the evidence is in my signature. Just as well since the one high priced mod I did buy was pinched! $250 worth of gear stolen from my saddlebag, all included in my totals as it was all part of the cost. The figures also include cartos, e-liquid, etc. so I'm taking into account the 2 1/2 gallons of DIY juice ingredients as well. The juice order was the main reason I spent more than expected this year but that's what happens when you don't trust the government to make sane decisions. So here you have it. Three years worth of vaping, all inclusive:
$3628 spent on vaping.
$9316 not spent on cigarettes (2 PAD @ 2011 prices because I don't have a clue what they cost now).
$5688 saved
The consolation prize? After 38 years of smoking I've hopefully saved myself from a horrible smoking related death. To me the money involved really isn't that important and this is coming from one of the cheapest SOB's you could ever meet!

Yeah, those kanger airflow controller bases seem to be sold out everywhere.
In my 4+ years of vaping I have spent somewhere around $800 on just mods. Not including toppers.
Dang! After reading everybody's comments I don't feel so bad with my $400 in a year's time! Tho i am wanting to get a new battery and several new tanks in the next coming month or so. Up grade if you will lol. I'm also wanting to diy juices soon.
Just added a Smoktech Pyrex/Aluminium 6.5ml DCT, and 4 Smoktech XL 2.0 ohm/2-hole cartomizers, air flow control ring, tank tool, red acrylic drip tip, and a 30ml needle-tip bottle to my gear. Altogether, that's another $42, making my grand total so far $242!

Let's see.... Just started a little over a month ago probably close to 600. But its me and the fiance im buying for. Both of us on the first day of vaping left analogs behind. I have about a half dozen evod batteries tons of juice 2 aspire tanks Iclear 30s half doz evod tanks Lavatube V2.5 Kanger PT3 one RDA and my rebuilding supplies. Just love it and im still spending less the i was on analogs for the 2 of us
