it seems like to much. I spent several hundred of dollars on the gas station ecigs.

I have bought 5 batteries including the 2 650 ma battery in a starter kit, 1 ego VV 1000 ma, 1 ego 1000 ma and a mod battery with 3 18650 batteries and 2 18350 batteries and chargers total about $300

heads and atomizers about $100.

Total about $600.

I have not been smoking since early Feb 2013. I think all-in-all I spent about as much as I would hve as a smoker after setting up my lab and supplies for mixing my own. But moving forward my cost are very low about $5 for 30 ml, or 20-40 a month.

If I include everything I'm around 1,000 since Feb this year. But I now have the right equipment and a few good ejuices that I'm mixing, so the cost has droped very low. I think in the last 30 day I spen about $70, which gives me every think I need for about 2 months.
I just calculated all my vaping costs since I started, which has been just over a month, and it totalled to $935.05. This includes both ejuices and hardware. OMG. LOL

When I smoked, I'd spend anywhere from $150-$200 a month. Maybe I should just go back to smoking analogs. :D

1300 total;
Over a thousand bucks on 150ml/mg solution of potent NIC juice in a PG suspension. I make my own and am preparing for any possible BANS on this stuff and TAXES too. 120 bucks on a Lava Tube knock off; that includes spare parts batteries and Tankomizers refills. Rebuildable Tanks, Flavorings and the VG juice I will by as needed at Walmart or TSC [Tractor Supply Company]. For those worry warts out there ; I mix the NIC juice down to 24 ml/mg so worry not now please. I have much more to do for a doomsday setup such as a 100% mechanical no computer chip telescoping MOD incase the hardware gets whacked by the Feds. And more rebuildable supplies such as the resistance wire, wicks and ceramic discs that I am experimenting with soon. All in all after this month 1300 dollars and going up in less than 6 months but remember most was the NIC juice for DIY ops. I will die before I use it all, I'm 57 years old and my health sucks.
One more note ; I am taking in information and experimenting with extracting Nicotine from RAW tobacco. Here in Tennessee we are allowed to grow a certain amount for our own personal use tax free. However due to the forum rules and my morally agreeing with the reasons why I will not post how that is done, but I am aware my over purchases of NIC juice may spoil before I get a chance to use it. If I get this DIY nic extraction down I will simply sell off my inventory to locals in need.

Don't you dare! ;)
I haven't figured how much I've spent yet since Jan, it's a lot. Not ready to add up the tally just yet. However, my spending has really gone down since the beginning. Once you figure out what works for you and what you like, the spending will slow down. :)

My nifty android app says that I've been a non-smoker for since April 7, 2013, which is 52 days ago. I would have smoked 1,040 analogs. I've spent $259.08 on ecig stuff, or $149.47 per month on average. And I've saved over $40.00 as opposed to buying analogs. That number is about to change since I'm in the shopping mood right now. But I also think about the doctor visits that I may not have to pay for in the relatively distant future, and I'm saving even more!

This habit/hobby or even lifestyle has so much more variety than boring ol smokes ever did. I couldn't go back even if i wanted to, vaping is so much more satisfying !:)

That's pretty good there! It's gonna take me a few more months I think before I break even. That is if I chill on buying stuff! However, I will say, my spending has slowed down. I don't get nearly as much VapeMail as I used to. Which is good, I'm not buying as much stuff, but bad because Man! I love getting VapeMail! :hubba:

Yep! Vapin' is just a cool way to justify getin' VapeMail!!

Just be glad you don't have to buy your stuff in england. spinner 1300 battery = £25 ($37.50), kanger protank = £17 ($25.50) , just a couple of examples that are typically priced over here. 30ml of premade e liquid is £15 ($22.50).

Wow! That blows Evan! Would it be feasible to order things from the US? Maybe just put in big orders so that the shipping wouldn't be as bad? I haven't order anything over seas.

Ugh! The money that has went down the drain on gas station ecigs is huge. I would guess, I have spent around $300 on those and around another $300 for my mods I have built, 2 Vamos, RBAs and around 15 batteries. I don't wanna talk about how much I have spent on DIY juice... vaping while being an unemployed full-time college student is hard!

I'm sure it is hard. But look at it this way... You have all the supplies. Should get easier now. Just don't buy anymore stuff. Although the start up costs aren't very much fun, you will save money. Just don't become obsessive compulsive like some of us have. I buy custom juice and my habit costs about $15 a week, a third of what the stinkies cost. Good Luck to you!! Stop buying stuff and use what you have. :)

I have spent about $250 -$300 on devices, oddly the one I use the most now is a volcano inferno with the new Tanger t3 tanks , I have a Buzz Pro but the convenience of the Inferno (usb passthrough rocks) is what I usually go for. I like the VV just don't feel I need it for most of my juices.

Now ..in juices...wow I think I have spent too much. But it has settled down now that I have a few favorites but sometimes I go on a "try new flavors" binge. (Volcano's RY four is a great one I recently discovered.

I'm just about to round out my first month of my vaping journey and I'm at about $250USD. Kinda feel like I got duped recently with my purchase of a Smoktech 5V WOO kit (T.V.). Don't worry, I've read a bit about stacked battery issues and have ordered protected batteries for it plus I'm a whiz with a multimeter :)

Eventually I'll stop buying stuff and be comfortable with a particular setup but thus far it's been rather costly. Never going back to analogs that's for sure

Well, I have to think about this because unfortuntely for years I was on and off from vaping until about 4 months ago but total in different kits and juices and yadda yadda......ummm....probably 700-1000$ easily. I'm nowhere done but considering I was shelling out easily 200$+ in smokes a month I don't mind investing in my healthier hobby ;) Started with a dragon 510 kit a long time ago and basically got a ego kit in every variation and today there is so much available compared to in the past. That and I was on my own and didn't research or really get involved in the forums. It's been a long journey but I have a set up that works for me and more to try so let the real fun begin :D

I'm not sure if that's a good idea. I've thought about it, though your idea of putting in a big order is worth thinking about. Thanks for that !:toast:
