After almost 2 years I simply look at my monthly costs for attys/juice...I'm saving a bunch.

I buy 801's in bulk at about $5 each and get just under a full month out of one of them. I also DIY my own juice with concentrates and base at about $40 for the month and that's at 5ml/day vaping.

Early on I did buy a handful of devices (901, JSStick V1,2,3, Bartleby, Prodigy) but now I've settled on the 801/Bartleby and haven't bought a new PV in about a year.

So hard to calculate I don't include it with my signature. The short term savings are not just the cost of the analogs, it's time and travel costs to get them, additional teeth cleanings, and lighters/matches. Time is one factor that I think gets overlooked too often. I used leave whatever I was doing to have an analog at least once sometimes twice an hour during a 16 hour day. At 5 minutes a shot it roughly comes out to an hour and 40 minutes of dragging on an analog.

I've been analog free for about 8.5 months so that a little over 10 days or increased productivity.

Long term.....who is to say? I might get lucky or after 30 years I may still pay the price...but so far no issues.

This is how I look at it also. So much time devoted to it on one way or another... I did the same as you with going out to have an analog. It also made it horrible to retain a train of thought. I used to justify it as 'time to think'... then I'd have to think about where I was when I came back in... also having to run the gauntlet every time I went out or came back in, knowing people knew what I was doing and just reeking of smoke as I went past them.

I think that part is the most freeing aspect of it all... no one knows any more...

As a side note, after not smoking an analog for almost 6 weeks, I had a piece of homemade banana/chocolate chip bread today... have I REALLY been missing that much taste?! Really?!
