Just curious if I am in the minority here. I hope this doesn't come off as condescending - different strokes, and I am truly curious.

I usually just carry a mod and tank with me when I leave the house. Generally I don't travel a lot, mainly my commute to work, or out running errands or shopping with my wife. I don't really venture far from the house, typically. I don't go to bars, and eat out a few times per week. Visit friends on occasion. Pretty boring right?

I see people posting their vape kits here, and really wonder if all that is necessary. Certainly not for me, as I don't want to lug all that stuff around. Like today - I grabbed my iStick30 with Subtank Mini, fully charged and full tank, and went to work which is a 25 minute drive. The iStick/Kanger combo is tiny and fits well in my pocket. It's perfect for traveling. Once at work I have that plus an MVP2 with a IBTanked carto tank and a spare bottle of juice on my desk though it is rarely used since my employer outlawed indoor vaping.

If I am going shopping or to dinner I usually carry the same, or something similar - nothing bigger than a single 18650 regulated box with a tank or maybe my Reo Grand. I've never had the need to carry any more than that, so I'm wondering why folks carry wick, wire juice, batteries, tools etc...and curious how many do. I'm not knocking it, just don't get it. I can see if I was traveling away from home for days, as in vacation, but otherwise...

I prefer to pack light, and already have enough junk in my pockets, especially if I'm also CCW. I don't want to carry a man-bag or briefcase full of vape gear. Even a small box or pouch is an encumbrance to me. Never carried a smoking kit either.

So, where do I fall in the vape gear spectrum?...what do you carry?

No matter what you carry anything is better then searching for a lighter of which you had dozens and never finding one or one that worked.

I used to carry one or two mods in an eGo traveling case, along with some extra filled cartotanks and spare batteries.

Then I worked for a vape shop for nearly a year, and carried a majority of my gear in a converted laptop carrying bag, just in case I needed to show a customer something they hadn't seen before. So, several different mods and juice delivery devices, in addition to my rebuildable supplies.

When I leave the house now, I usually just bring my two everyday mods. A Provari/Kayfun RTA setup and a Silver Bullet mech with RDA. One fits in each front pants pocket or I hand carry them. I will usually carry a spare 18650 in a plastic battery case just in case I need it. And a bottle of e-liquid for dripping the mech.

I almost always carry a spare setup, or at the very least a spare battery. Nothing worse than being unable to vape when away from home. Yup, I'm a vapaholic.

I work from home, so for simple out and about, a topped up Kayfun Lite and whichever battery is charged (IPV mini or iStick 50). If I'm going to a customer site, I'll grab and extra tank (with a different flavor), an extra battery, and maybe a bottle of juice just in case. Sometimes I'll get re-routed once I get on the road and a 2 hour customer visit will turn into a 6 hour, 2-customer visit. Got to be prepared.

Yeah, I used to keep spare flints and fluid for my Zippo in my work desk. Gave that stuff, and three of my Zippos to some friends at work.

I travel a lot for work so a lot of time in my work vehicle. I always have my IPV Mini V2, tank (Atlantis) with a spare coil in the truck. 30ml of juice and 2 spare 18650's.

Going to the bar or out, in my pocket I have 2 spare batteries and 30ml of juice. I make sure the coil is fresh enough to not burn out thru the night. Something about drinking and vaping - it's almost devastating if I can't do them both. Drinkers out there know what I'm talking about LOL

Same reason when I used to smoke I needed a full pack of smokes before I went out.

I miss my Zippo. :( It was the small rectangle one with engraved flowers on it. I thought about getting my initials engraved on it too because there was space for it and I thought it would be a nice touch, but I never saved up the cash to do it. My teenage self always spent my money too quick on CDs, Marlboro Lights, and the occasional box of Djarum cloves

This was my old Zippo *sentimental sniffle*

I carry a lot less stuff than I used to, that's for sure. When I first started rebuilding, back when mesh gennies were big, I had enough stuff in an old camera bag to do complete rebuilds, in case something went wrong. It was like carrying a diaper bag around to support a baby.
Once I got comfortable with my builds, I carried less and less.
Nowadays I just carry one Reo. Depending how long I'm going to be away from home, maybe an extra battery and juice bottle.

Let's see, I have my ipv mini 2, two batteries for it, my sig 150, the doge v2, the mutation x v3, the herakles, the subtank mini, 24 and 26 kanthal, cotton, coil jig, pliers, cutters, tweezers, scissors, and 5 different bottles of juice. This way no matter why I want to vape on, I'm covered.

I work from a pickup truck on the road and often in the boonies. ("Call before you dig" utilities locator)

When I leave in the morning, I have my SID (18650 tube VW mod) with a fresh 18650 and full 4ml clearo hanging around my neck.

In a pill bottle is a spare battery. In a heavy duty 4x6" ziplock are 3-4 other clearo's with my flavors o da day. (Fancy stuff, I know.)

I also cram a few q-tips in the pill bottle to eliminate the occasional gurgle situation.

And for the "sub-poll" guys, a Keltec P-11 in a DeSantis Nemisis, right front pocket.

I've not yet experienced a mod failure. I've picked up a few spares on clearance. I may just toss one in the glove box one day for added insurance.

I'm about to head out on a 2 week trip, my first since becoming a "Tootle Puffer" :D

I'm still considering what to take. Definitely a spare mod, charger, some coils and 100+ ml of juice.

I have two kinds of vape gear, 'normal stuff' and 'crazy stuff'. The crazy stuff stays at home.

I will normally walk out the door with one of these in my hand. Don't really need anything else.

Cool.

Hey BTW - What is the Articulated Arm in the background holding up?
