How much Sweetner?

Hi All: New DIYer here. My first attempt at a basic Peppermint juice tasted ok, but I don't know how much sweetener to add? I just did a few drops in a 3 ml sample and didn't get much of anything flavor wise. What is a good starting percentage on sweetener?

Depends on what sweetner you're using. I use PG based Stevia I get from Trader Joes, and all it takes for 10ml for me is two drops. But the Stevia is natural with the molecules much more stable, so there is no steeping time. I've never used fake molecules for juices, YMMV.

Thanks Seabrook. I just have a bottle of FA Sweetener. Ingredients Artificial flavor, PG, water and sucralose. Does that clarify for anyone?

It all depends on your tastes. I like mine sweet. If a couple doesn't do it, add a couple more. Shake it up and let it sit for a couple hours, shake again and try it. Rinse and repeat until you like it.

Some flavors already have a sweet hint to it, so you might need to adjust depending on what flavor you use.

Its all trial and error
