i try to clean them once a week....instead of soap, cuz who wants a soapy aftertaste
i use vodka to let them and wicks coils soak in over night, sometimes longer, then let them dry at least over night and you should be good to go....cleaning coils can help prolong their life :)
but now that i've been at this for a while, i have a bit of a collection so don't have to clean as often and since i drip instead of using tanks now, i can just rinse out and pop in a new wick/coil and good to go....but still a good idea to clean every now and then :)
plus the alcohol should help kill any germs and things, say if you were sick and vaping, don't wanna keep vaping on those germs ;)

Seems to me the juice really starts tasting awesome after the second tank so I tend to run mine for at least 30ml of juice before I rewick and clean give or take several ml's. If I'm using the same juice I do a quick clean and burn but if I'm changing flavors I do a more thorough cleaning. Sometimes I even have a little coil residue swirling in my tanks. Anyone else get that? To me that's when the wick is getting good and broke in. Just seems the flavor is off the charts then.

How often do you clean your tanks if you are keeping the same flavor? Also do you use soap on your glass tanks or something else?
Thanks and have a nice day!

Usually when changing flavors, sometimes when re-coiling/wicking. I clean my drip-tips and the externals of my devices much more often. They are in my hand all day and I handle many a foreign keyboard throughout. If a tank can be fully disassembled I'l use dish soap and warm/hot water to clean followed by manual drying. If not, I'll let them sit in consecutive pots of clean, boiling, water and air-dry.

I take apart and rinse my KFLs with water and dry burn and re-wick with every tank. Although it does take a little bit to break in the wick, I feel that the flavor starts to decline in the middle of my second tank if I don't clean it, dry burn, and replace the wick. I only use dish soap on newly acquired atomizers - otherwise I just rinse with water and dry with paper towels.

I do the same. Every once in awhile I do a thorough clean, first with Dawn and plenty of rinsing, then with alcohol.

I just rinse out my kayfuns with hot water and have a small fine test tube brush I scrub all the cooties out with, let air dry. When the wick poops out then the whole unit gets cleaned so I start fresh after rewicking, I don't see the point in trying to dryburn and rewick a dirty, juicy atty just making a mess. Start clean with everything fresh makes IMO a better vape.
FYI This is my 1000th post. I assume I just jumped over somesorta threshold. :headbang:
