Zeus X RTA. Like many have said, I lightly clean mine after I pull out the cotton to rewick. I'll dry burn the coils to be sure they're balanced, and quench them in water, then rinse the whole deck so I won't get juice on my fingers as I work. Maybe once a month I'll rinse out the whole tank. If I notice any dirt/hair/food I'll wipe or rinse that. I wipe down the exterior if it starts looking grungy. Every couple of months or so I clean the dust and carbon out of the 510 connector with a Q-tip. I've never considered using soap or cleaner since the wicking filters everything and the PG sanitizes all the inner surfaces continuously. I've never disassembled it to clean under the O-rings.

Hi,

Well, I like to discuss the cleaning topic, how often do you clean / wash your atomizers and also how do you?

well, I like to clean / wash every month my top tanks, like zeus, creed and themis RTA, so for the RDA’s, thanks god a close friend have a shop and an ultra sonic jewelry cleaner for all customers use, so I try to take advantage of this every month, take all apart, wash with just water and little to say nothing … hand soap, then they are washed into that UJC pot for 3 cycles, nothing could beat Ultra Sonic Jewelry Cleaners!

Regards,

Usually I take apart the tank once a week or when I change flavors, which ever comes first. Then wash it in very hot water not so hot that I can't keep my hand in it and use disinfecting dish soap.

An UJC does sound interesting but do you have fresh fluid in it each time a new user comes along.....
I wouldn't want to use the same fluid after 50 other people had put their parts into it that wouldn't sound very clean

Once a week I'll give my atomizers a quick soak/rince in hot water, remove the wicks,a dry burn and a little coil scrub with an old tooth brush.Dry things up with a paper towel then rewick, fill and go.
I ony use unflavoured or very lightly flavoured juice so coils get replaced once every few months or so.

When I rewick I wash out the coil deck and the tank tube. If the coil is rough and a low level dry burn doesn't make it smooth, I recoil. Any time I pull an atty apart it gets a new wick.

New attys get pulled apart and a bath in the ultrasonic cleaner with a small drop of dish soap before they see a coil and wick. I follow that with a hot water rinse in the sink.

I rotate ten K4's. I re-wick after every tankful.
Edit: I completely dismantle, rinse, dry burn, re-assemble. Don't re-wick until i use the tank again. Which may not be for about another fortnight.

It's routine !.

What i can't stand is a greasy sticky tank with weird gunge round the mouthpiece. A build up of juice which seeps into the airways if left unchecked.

So i just keep things all nice and clean most days. Depends how long it takes to finish a tank, which is determined by how busy i am during the day. If i'm kept busy then i don't have time to vape so a tankful might last longer. But generally a tank lasts about a day.

I wash mine when I need to change or dry fire the coil. So maybe 2 -3weeks? Depending on what juice and how often im using a particular atty. I usually have 8- 10 attys in a rotation so they can last a few weeks.
well, im on that page too, mostly RTA's, noticed that i stopped using RDA's

i did had some toughts about that too, but never cared that much, the main thing is now i want a ujc for me...

I use baby wipes :p for my RTAs

Every rewick the coil and deck gets wiped, and the chamber gets baby wiped too.

Before recoilling the deck gets a hot rinse and baby wiped ;)

Tank and chamber get a bath whenever the tank is really low.
dunno, unflavored baby wipes cuz mostly have some liquids and aromas, so i rather ujc or warm water,

When I change coils I give my RTAs a good cleaning using hot water, Dawn dish soap, and an old toothbrush. I have found that Dawn works best for me and also it rinses clean, unlike hand soap which can contain perfumes. I also vape unflavored and just dry burn the coil when I change out the wick. Quick, easy, and simple I'm all about simple.

I yawned ---> a lot <--- when I read through this…

Wow…you all really don't show much love (or creativity) for your RTA's or RDA's when washing and cleaning.

My RiTA loves a nice hot bath…not too hot and absolutely not chilled (or she will curse me with dry hits for eternity).

I draw her up a lovely bubble bath complete with rose petals and lit candles. Oh yes, extra roses in vases too (the chocolates and wine are for me). Ambiance counts guys (the ladies are born knowing this).

I gently strip RiTA down to her beautiful nakedness and very lovingly place her in our spa…and not carelessly mind you…or I will be in the doghouse for a time. Trust me I know this from experience…I never heard the end of it and even to this day I still feel her wrathy look. I usually like to let her soak in the experience for a while…adding more hot water as needed. RiTA loves that.

Then I proceed to wash her slender curvy body being particularly mindful of those most gentle of areas. Naturally I take my time cause RiTA simply does not care for a man who rushes things.

Once she is squeaky clean and rinsed (with soothingly warm water) I gingerly remove her from the bubbly bath and caressingly dry her gorgeous body. I dress her making 100% certain everything fits to the nines…or I guarantee you she will not be happy…and you really should know the saying by heart ---> happy RiTA happy life. So take real good care and she will perform magic.

Every time I treat her right she delivers the most fabulous flavor and oh boy that scent…wowza!!! Heavenly…in fact.

Ok, back to all your seriously boring baths!!!
