How to boil juice for steeping?

I've heard of people boiling their juice to speed the steeping process? whats the rec. entail exactly? What should the juice be in, how long should it be boiled for, and hat level boiling, like barely or insanely hot boiling water?

I have not done it myself but I did see a recommendation on this forum. Place your juice in a ziploc bag and get all the air out. Put that in another ziploc and get all the air out. Boil water, drop the bag in and turn the heat off. Let the water cool back to room temp and remove the juice. I have seen people say that will be the equivalent of about a week of steeping.

Again, I have never done it and YMMV.

what i have done in the past to increase steeping time was to put the bottle in a cup of water on one of those coffee cup heaters for 12 hours

I heat water in a microwave safe pot for about 3 minutes, then set the sealed bottle (I use glass for all my DIY) into it and let it sit untill cool while taking it out and shaking it occasionaly. I use a 90%VG base and this really thins it out to allow it to mix better.

I nuke some water in about 1/2 cup for 45 sec and sit my bottle in it with the lid off. You don't want to boil it just heat it so the flavors all blend. It speeds up the process.

I've heard of setting the bottle in hot water with the cap off, I've never heard of boiling it. Sounds like a really good way to ruin some juice.
