What meter do you have?
Are you familiar with how it operates and what the setting and readings mean?

Be safe

Just one you screw the 510 in to our shod I go to Lowe's and pick up a Multi meter ya little bit would it just be continuity on the multi meter if you have continuity you should be good right
I did not know if a normal ohms meter would err out our something

As long as your batteries are up the the task you should be fine. Personally, I would stay above .2Ω.
Use something like http://www.steam-engine.org/ and confirm that your meter is accurate.
For me, a "short" would be anything that is pushing my battery beyond 80% of it's rated discharge rate.

Have fun
I
Unless I'm missing a setting in steam engine I can't seem to have it set up for dual parallel box with my batteries they only give me the rating for one battery

Ya 20 amp cells gives me 40 I got that thanks man

My brain sees it like this: load (amps draw) will be shared by both cells, but each cell is still constrained by it's own internal resistance/amp limitation. 20 amp cells/20 amp limit (well 80% of that to be safe).
I would not attempt a 40 amp build with 2 parallel 20 amp cells.

cheers

i also use a torch to shine in through the driptip and then through the airhole to visually check how close the coils are to the side of the topcap and then check ohms for shorts also with cap on and off.
There are a lot of attys that lose a lot of deck space once the topcap is installed, dont take it for granted that they are all the same.

I just didn't know if there is a way to check to make sure that your coil wasn't hitting Side Of the RDA our something stupid like that if the ohm meter would show it somehow was all I understand battery safety

For those of us in the united states, torch = flashlight.
