How to fill ego mega dual coils??

I got a few ego mega dual coils and I've never owned cartos before. I was told you can fill them by tipping them to one side and dripping in. But then when I did that with a mega dual coil clear carto I noticed that when dripping in fluid it only filled up the top Half inch of the carto so I resorted back to syringe method and pushed the syringe down half way and filled like that. What did I do wrong ? Should I have let the juice soak a bit after dripping and would it have slowly went to the bottom ? Now that I see what happened on the clear one, I have reason to believe my dripping didn't even get down to far in the ego non clear carto ... Any ideas would be great

I have been filling them with a syringe myself and seems to be the best way. I stick it in as far as it can go and work my way up until it's saturated and I get a couple drops out of the bottom. Also tried dripping into them, just seems to take longer that way. So personally, I use the syringe.

I use the spin method for filling all my cartos.I have a old med bottle put 2 small wholes in cap put string in the wholes tie off put carto in bottle bottom down put cap on now put the string around wrist or finger spin juice goes wright to bottom.I do this method also to remove old darkened juice after time with the carto turned around ang a piece of paper towel in bottom of bottle.

If filling carto's with dripping, drip until it is slow to absorb and flick it in you hand like you would a thermometer and the fluid will move down in the carto then add more and flick it again. I have did this with clearo's so I could see, and it works. Needle filling is the best but you don't want to carry a needle around in your pocket. LOL

Thanks guys! I never knew how much i was (NOT FILLING) until i got these dual coil mega cartomizers. I am dripping 20-30 drops on top (tilted) and it's not even going down a half inch. The filler on the bottom is all untouched, so no wonder why my ego dual coil megas are not hitting as great as everyone says. Now that i have the clear ones, I know now how they are actually getting filled. So now i will fill a syringe up to 3ML and stick it in as far as it can go down and lightly fill as i move up to the top.

Question, if i put about 30 drops in the clear dual coil XL's, will all that juice that's on the top eventually go down to the bottom? I guess if you do the shake/thermometer method it will eventually go down, but since I've always been an atty guy, i never paid attention to tips and tricks. Now i understand when people say they fill the night before and leave it standing over night to soak in.

Well this thread answered the question I had so thx also Is there somewhere you can get a reg. type mouth piece? I hate the rubber one that comes with it. Someone said that the type b egot atty mouth piece that ships with one will work but don't want to have to get the type b atty just to get mouth piece. Didnt mean to highjack thread.

You can lop the top of the rubber one off drill the center to fit a 510 dt.

Sometimes it will drain down some times not when new they are slower to fill use the thermomiter or spin method i think its easier the syringe don't need to clean syringe then works just as good and don't have to worry about wrecking batting.

A new dry carto will take longer to absorb than a wet one . It also depend on the mix of your eliquid . Too thick and it will take longer . PG based eliquid absorbs readily . VG will take a lot longer and a mixture may take a bit of time as well depending on the ratio of PG to VG .

Today i messed up again. I took a hit this morning, and it felt like the carto was empty, I tried to take a few vapes and it tasted burnt, so i assumed I vaped the 3ml i put into the EMDCC - so I took another 2.5 mil into the syringe and after about .5 ml it started to drip out of the bottom. So i guess i should have to shake it every morning for the fluid to start moving again before I vape it first thing in the morning?

I left it standing up overnight, and I did vape a lot of it the day before, so logically i thought it needed more fluid, but for it to start flooding after .5 ML, means there is enough juice in there right? I'm not getting the same taste and vapor as i did on the first fill, but it's also telling me that it's full already (literally about 10 drops came out of the bottom while i was filling with syringe)...

Maybe i just need to shake it around a little bit and see

btw, it's all Halo juice that i vape, and I think they are 80/20 or 70/30, around there somewhere...but it's not thick at all.

Sometimes if you press the syringe to fast, it will come out the treaded end because it can't soak it up fast enough, and so it is really not filled like it should. When this happens just let it set for 15 min's and then blow it out, then drip fluid in it untill it won't soak up fluid quickly. Try putting the condom that the carto's come with, on the theaded end before you fill it with the needle, then the juice will stay in the carto, and then let it rest to soak up real good, then blow out any excess fluid and your ready to vape.
