Man... this morning when I woke up, the water had slowed to a dull trickle. I was not happy. The husband somehow made the city of Douglas water people go out there and look at our pipe. It is apparently fine.

So... any ideas? HOT AND COLD. 1/10th (maybe) of what it was. The good news is, the landlords have to deal with it and my SPATE of cleaning for the kid means I can have them out here without Renter Shame.

But if anyone has ideas, I wouldn't mind pouring drano down somewhere. This seems counterintuitive things are draining JUST fine at the moment thanks to the trickle. But, you know, how to fix things.

Heck, I'm probably not ALLOWED to fix it. Not now they have been notified. Husband just called, I let him leave a message. I am exhausted, and the kid is coming and he is CRANKY I don't like this Ritalin thing for him ONE bit, he is the OPPOSITE of ADHD more like OCD and .... retentive with a side order of "I can concentrate harder and do more than the entire WORLD."

I did not want to talk.

He kinda is like that. He must have done SO MUCH as a kid (well his stepfather was a military drunk SO YEA."

LOL I concentrate well enough in my chosen field, but plumbing's not it.

Clogged up "valve" is the consensus it happened before apparently, I love pouring Drano places but I don't even know what a valve is or where it is. Etc.p

I had a friend with a similar problem the seemed to come out of nowhere and after wasting quite a bit of time realized their water softener was clogged. He was new to the house and hadn't even realized he had a water softener!

Hope you can figure this out without too much trouble. It sounds like the problem is between the meter and where the water splits off to the water heater.

I can 100% GUARANTEE we do not have a water softener and I actually know what that is! We bought a "souped up new house" 2 years old one time it was the BEST.

Except it was across the street well, cul de sac, of my mom's house. The only REAL clog in the works. LOL not really it was one of those "Homeowner's association will kill you if you don't weed" places.

A congressman lived near us. State. But he was rather unpleasant.

There is no water softener here. I wash my dishes by hand. There is a clothesline in the back. I actually USE it sometimes. Etc.

Douglas is like stepping back in time sort of in a GOOD way. Usually,

Well that will just be fantastic.

How do you fix menopause since they no longer hand out hormones? LOL my mom was part of the longitudinal study.

When they made her stop, I think she was kind of like "I'd like to take my chances with a heart attack please."

I made it through without prescriptions. Increase soy (tofu, edamame), decrease fats, have meat once or twice per week (at most), increase leafy greens, decrease dairy (particularly milk), cut back on sugar and sodium. Take B-complex, calcium and magnesium supplements. Cold water splashes and/or ice packs on your head as needed. :)

And water. Lots of spring or distilled water. Up to 120 oz per day.

Seriously, I lost weight and never felt better. Regular exercise helped too (cycling in my case).

Mrs CMD saw these and got one for our kitchen and one for our daughter. They have been in use for a while and, you are correct - excellent buy.
I have two and just ordered another two. Seems like I can't have enuf flashlights around. Those cheap WalMart flashlights just do not last.

Does anyone have a good method for removing rust and cleaning a chain saw file? A friend of mine, who is nameless, has allowed his chain saw file to rust and it is working rather poorly. Or might it be best to get another? He is a tightwad.
Let me guess, your friend is not always the sharpest tool in the shed but everyone agrees he's a swell fella, right?

Get a new file. Rust on a file is a death knell. But they're cheap. Look at the box your chain came in. It should tell you the diameter of it.

I will relay your message to that fine fellow, I am sure he threw the box away, buffoon that he is. He can be rather dull but he keeps his tools sharp. Actually, I have a box, I was afraid that replacement would be the answer.

This is supposed to work well, I haven't tried it yet but plan to.

How to Remove Rust from Tools Using Vinegar-Let’s Find Out Easy Way

I plan to save that instruction for smooth metals, that "raspyness" of the file I fear will tear up the steel wool filling the file with steel wool. Mrs CMD has some large limp loppers she loves but they have grown a little rusty, this is worth a try. Cheap, easy and I already have the ingredients.

Good way to fill up one’s tool box.

That reminds me....I can't tell you how many times I have bought _____tools and never used them. They grow legs and walk away. (grown kids)
