It's been a few days since I got my Woody and I've having a vaping blast with it. I'm vaping FSUSA RY4 now and noticed that when I put a few drops in the atty, the taste was more flavorful than when I'm squonking.

Is this true for you guys/gals or it's just me? Am I doing something wrong?

Using a standard 510 by the way.

Appreciate your comments.

Am I supposed to get juice in the catch cup or not?

Thats how I do it. I like it wet at all times.
If my catch cup isn't a little wet its time to squonk again.
It makes it a PIA for pocket cary but it vapes sooooo goooood.

Except when I use cartomizers then I never see juice in the catch cup.
That makes it very pocket friendly with no spills

You will get the hang of it for your style.

A quick sharp suck before you fire the button helps get the juice up there too.

BTW, the juice in the cup becomes much more important with LR attys.
If you try to fire off a Cisco 1.5Ω without squonking hard enough to get a little in the cup it will burn on ya.

I've got a SR Joye atty (2.3Ω) on one of my woodvils and I like to squeeze till I see the juice start to come out and let up.

Then I keep them wet enough that if I let it sit a bit more forms in the cup from seepage while not in use.

Hello,

Congrats on your new Reo! From my experience, the flavor issue is not about squonking hard and rarely do you have to fill the cup just for flavor. Sometimes the cause for the lack of flavor might be your atomizers or juice.

You said you're using a standard 510, have you used Cisco grade LR atomizers yet?
I've never ordered from FSUSA so I can't really say if it is the juice or not.
Lastly, what kind of battery are you using?

I use a Cisco LR 1.5ohm 510 atomizer and I push the bottle until I see the juice through the holes but I rarely fill the cup. Also, how long have you had this atomizer for? Sometimes it takes time for an atomizer to break in. Another advice I would give you is to push the bottle until you see the juice in the holes, don't let go of the bottle and pull (without pushing the button) until you hear some gurgle, then push the button to draw.

Lastly, can you check something for me? Is your bottle screwed in straight? or does it give off a slight slant?

Hi dokebilee,

Thank you for the warm welcome.

I'm using a Joye standard 510 atty which I purchased on the day I got my Woody, 04 April. I haven't tried Cisco grade LR atties yet but have a Joye LR. I found it a bit hot plus my juices tasted burnt, although I may give it another go later.

As specified, im using 2 AW IMR 18650 3.7v 1600mAh batts.

As you mentioned, I'm now pushing the bottle just enough to see the juice peep out the holes without coming out into the catch cup then push the button to draw........and it's working!!

And yes my bottle is screwed in straight without a slant.

I'm vaping better now, tasting the juice more, feeling like...heaven! :)

Thanks again dokebilee

Marc

Some people might not agree with me but here it is.

I think bottom feeders need stronger flavored juice. I try to get double flavor for that reason. I vape really strong juice, always have and sometimes when you have that juice travelling up thru the atomizer the flavor tends to weaken out for me. I'm not sure why..

Try stronger flavor in the juices...ask for extra flavor if possible

Hope this helps. Hugs, Clumsy

I don't have a Reo, but on my bottomfeed I find it easy to see how much juice I'm getting by using a clear cannon drip tip on a LR 306, in fact after watching it for awhile I sort of learned when & how much juice to dispense and rarely look at it any more

I agree. I got one of the pyrex drip tips, fits perfectly over the Cisco 306, and so easy to see the juice. :)

I do the same thing, the only exception I've found though is that full VG juice doesn't seem to need the extra flavor.

I've taken habit to remove the wick from my LR atties. I leave the bridge intact so it doesn't get too hot - but no wick = no burnt wick, plus keeping the coil wet and I'm golden. Definitely recommend Cisco or IkenVape 306 LR atties, too. I'm currently using FSUSA's RY4 w/ Menthol and have no problems with flavor.
