How to obtain limited edition devices?

Is anyone willing to share tips on how to get rareish items such as the Darwins, iHybrids and GG mods? It seems to me that you have to know someone or be known as a reviewer. I am not likely to become a high-end collector however I would like to own a unique piece or two without shopping the classifieds.

I have put my name on lists to be notified when they become available but so far only the Vapinaze (AC-9) folks have actually notified me when I could make a purchase. I commend Provari, as one of the vendors who predict accurately when limited items will be available online.

I've often wondered why more vendors don't take pre-orders - any ideas?

For iHybrids I would watch Faceless's thread. He comes out with new additions regularly.

For other rare or hard to get mods check out the UK forums. The classifieds would be your best bet though.

For GG items head over to the GG sub-forum, and for Darwin check the nhaler sub-forum (Also heard if you email Drew he can get you one, not looking personally but thats just what I've heard.)
