How to reuse a carto for dripping?

I'm sure this has been asked before but I searched and couldn't find answers.

I have a used IKV 510 Platinum LR Carto that I'd like to reuse to test/taste juices.

I believe this is a vertical coil.

How would I go about making this a dripping atty?

Do I just pull the filler out and lightly rinse with DW?
