In A Padded Cell
I still lurk Poeia, nothing going on so I haven't posted. How have you been? How's Ralph? Any Updates Scagin?
I sort of fell of the wagon big time due to some stuff and my own stupidity, still vaping BUT....so I have to quit all over again. I was just thinking I need to get my bum back on the forum which might help. Work has me gone about 70 some hours a week right now and this little guy has been keeping me busy. He's a bit bigger now, the pic is a few weeks old.

The State of Confusion
So the legs were a good thing -- because they were testing everything as a result, they found the aneurism in time. And they will fix it. :)

Sending good thoughts for a speedy recovery.

Yes, I am so thankful for the test that found this. There aren't any so called symptoms for something like this.

Little nervous about it....but that would be normal I guess ;) Thanks for the good thoughts.

Well, I had tests yesterday to find the blockages in my legs. They also looked in the area just below the rib cage.
They found an abdominal aortic aneurism 8cm in sized (3.12 inches). So, tomorrow CT scan, Thursday Stress test.
They have to fix it right away........the legs will wait.
Obviously you are on 0 nic since nic badly constricts blood vessels.

CT scan went well. But that xray dye is HOT!!! :) Oh, and when
they told me to lay down and pull my blue jeans to my ankles.......
well, that was scary. You can't run with your blue jeans at your ankles!!!

If they find that the anuerism is below the renal aorta then they can
do the stint through the groin. If not they will have to open me up.

Stress test in the morning.

Thanks for all the prayers....I appreciate it

No they have to be at least 60% blocked before they consider doing anything. That is why further constriction by nicotine is particularly dangerous.

Ok, My Cardiovascular surgeon asked if I smoked, I said no, I quit July 18th 2009.
I told him I use an electronic cigarette. He said that's great, you are not
burning nicotine that is bad. Did not tell me to quit. They are doing the cath
because I need my aneurysm fixed. It can't be fixed until my heart is ok'd. Any
blockage isn't good before the aneurysm surgery.
