how to tell what batteries you have?

went to eciggity retail store and not sure what the clerk tried to sell me I asked if the battery was 20Amps and he said yes and asked if it's LG he said yes. the problem is the box it came in is blank and the batteries themselves say nothing but IMR 3000mah, 3.7V and Made in China. it is very dark brown in color but the other LG battery I was going to get had the little serial number thing all over it where this battery has nothing but a grey sticket saying all that.

I was googling up some pics they look exactly like the LG HG2 same color and if you look at the pics they have the same grey generic looking label. just wondering if this is a legit HG2?

You should be able to peel off the sticker and the factory LG labelling should be there. Most places put their own stickers over those labels on the batteries for some reason.
