You read a new mixer's question and it seems so simple of an answer that you have no idea if you can answer it without sounding like a real d***head...
I am guilty of this recently. A post by a new-ish member, less than 30 posts anyway, (I well remember how clueless I was in the beginning!) so I begin my song and dance and get called out about it. Sometimes I am still clueless.
I know I must be crazy. I have new bottles of flavorings that I have not touched. I buy more an realize I bought extra's of my favorites. (Hoarding syndrome?)
I keep telling myself I'm not going to mix anymore until I've used up what I've already made. Then with the next breath I'm back at the mixing table opening up bottles and laying out supplies. So now I'm at the point where I can't give the stuff away fast enough.
Also....when you keep 3, 60 ml bottles of your ADV steeping in a row from oldest to youngest in your cabinet way before you need them. Yum! And when you get close to running out of your flavoring, even though you have 3 big bottles steeping already, you hit panic mode and order more even when you are broke and should probably wait until payday.
I found some of my "early" recipes and think to myself "What the heck was I thinking?". This was way back when Hangsen and other super concentrates were not available.
