Ok, I know this a super stupid question, and I apologize in advance, but I can't find the answer and/or I'm not typing in the correct verbiage when I'm doing my search - how in the world do you test your new juices to determine if they've steeped long enough? Do you just pour some in your device and vape away, hoping for the best?

I've got some on order from mt baker vapor but since it's my very first order *ever*, I don't know how to determine if and when a flavor is ready to go...

Any advice is helpful - thank you!

I normally put the smallest amount of new juice into a clearo to test. If it tastes too 'chemically' (for a lack of a better word) I shake and uncap. Whenever I think about it, Ill recap and shake and uncap and repeat for about a week. Ill retry after then to see if the juice has improved its flavor. Ive never ordered from Mt Baker so Im not sure if they need steeping. Some flavors from Fuzion Vapor need almost two weeks to steep.

Like darkhood said, if you have a dripping atty you can drop a few drops in to do a taste test vape. If you don't have anything to drip into, smell is a pretty good indicator, if it smells like what you think it should smell like it's probably fairly good to go, if it smells chemical or perfume-like you'll probably want to steep it.

I'm asking because I don't have any "drip tips" and I read a post here that a member likes to dip a fingertip into the juice in question and actually taste it with her finger to see if it's ready.

I have a few cartomizers from a cig look alike kit I bought prior to ordering a better setup but they've got menthol juice in them already. I didn't know if there's a better way of testing the new stuff before I go washing out a bunch of cartomizers. B-)

I you don't care for dripping, you can use a Nano clearomizer. Only holds 1 ml of juice, no polyfill (like a cartomizer has) to retain flavors so you can use multiple times. Easy fill, remove the mouthpiece.

Using an atomizer is the easiest way. Most vendors will tell you whether or not the juices need steeping. Some vapers have made their own atty by CAREFULLY removing the filler from a cartomizer leaving only the element behind on which juice can be dripped.
