My first experience kinda sucked, girlfriend got me a little ego starter kit with the (450mah?) Tiny Batts and some juice the local place said would simulate camels. They were veerrrry wrong and I gave it up almost immediately. Couple months later she got pregnant and we had the you need to quit discussion again but this time I went to the b&m and picked out my own stuff, the rest is history been vaping to this day. I think you have done a good thing jumping in with both feet, hope it helps you succeed man good luck and welcome.

My first experience was a 0mg Tablites ecig that I tried in the UK. Was actually quite pleasant as I hadn't smoked for over a year. However, I quickly found that the throat hit from 0mg was not enough so move up to 10mg then 18mg. Can't wait til someone brings out an additive that mimics the throat hit of Nicotine well, as too much Nic in my system makes me depressed.

My first experience with was a cig-alike called Fuma. It was a POS, but I didn't have anything to compare it to. I was very skeptical, but after my first half day with the thing, I was like, "holy sheep, this could actually work". I found ECF which opened up the wide world of vaping. I realized how personalized you could make your vaping experience. Upgraded a few times. Very happy with the whole experience. It would have been nice if I could have skipped the first little kit, but I can't complain too much as it got me to see the possibilities.

I ordered a starter kit for $35 thinking I'd lost the cost of a carton of smokes if it didn't work. I knew within 15 mins that I never had to smoke another cigarette. Vaping has been a lifesaver for me. I had tried everything. Chantix, Nicotrol inhalers, the patch, the gum, cold turkey, and even hypnosis, hahaha. Since I gave up smoking and started vaping, I've converted a few other people too. I couldn't be happier and I feel so much better.

Hi! I decided to take a shot at the gas station and bought a Logic. It immediately kept me from smoking analogs. Then I saw at the mall kiosk they sold e-juice. So I went home and watched a ton of YouTube videos, I picked out the G6 by Halo. This e-cig is awesome and in addition I bought their juice and it's killer. Almost 3 weeks off analogs and i love vaping. Plus I highly recommend them.

Tried a few NJoy Kings over the first couple of months of the year. Not terribly bad but, not great. Forgot about ecigs for a couple of months. Picked up a Blu started kit from Walgreens. Again, not terrible to start. Then battery life went to crap. Found ECF searching for ecig forums. Picked up a SmokTech Winder, Vivi Nova tank & juice from a local B&M. The rest as they say is history. Satisfied all around, taste, battry life, vape quality & none of the bad stuff from the real thing. Now rotate a Vamo & KTS w/ various bcc & carto tanks. All this in 2 months. I'm a vaper for sure now.

VAPE ON !!!! :vapor:

I was surprised that vaping "did it for me." Two prior attempts at vaping in 2009 and 2011 didn't work for me. I needed power, strong, long-lasting batteries, a good delivery device, and strong juice. I think all of that has come together with lots of wonderful options now in 2013. You are joining the Team during our first Golden Age, I think. This stuff really works well now. I hope and trust it will work as well for you. I'm glad you found this wonderful forum....nice folks here....lotsa expertise. Welcome!

I was actually led into vaping by some family members that decided to make the healthier life decision of vaping.... and it has quickly outgrown my budget LMAO. I think i have found myself moving more into being a hobbyist of vaping then using vaping to keep me off analogs lol.

My very first vape ever was on a iclear16 with a eGo VV (local B&M starburst juice)

My first experience vaping was "ok", using Greensmoke products.

They're too damn expensive, the flavors are very limited, and their power is lacking, but because they resemble analogs so much, they gave me enough of a replacement experience to ditch the tobaccy, and that's the most important thing!

I lived 16 years as a smoker, (and it was only really fun for maybe the first 2).. just realized that the other day... damn! No more, and I'm so glad to be free of em!

Now, on to the next level, a Tesla with EVOD and Protank 2! All the new kit arrives on Wed. Almost literally can't wait.

My first experience was similar to another user's. My mom bought me something called a vaporite with VODA watermelon liquid. Wasn't crazy about the juice and the stupid thing's charger broke within a week! So I decided to go to a local shop called swamp vapor. I got a e-Go-T upgrade starter kit which came with your choice of a 30 ml bottle. The shop was very nice, you could try every flavor before you bought it. For the free bottle I got Cajun Cooler and bought a bottle called dragon fly. Dragon fly has dragon fruit taste and Cajun Cooler seems to have cinnamon and a few other things I can't identify but I absolutely love that one too! I'm hooked now, still use analogs but not as many and I am sure I will cut back the analogs even more now!

I'm also going to get another battery and 2 more clearomizers, possibly another bottle of juice and another custom tip or 2. Glad I found the place! They also have a website if you're interested in some of their liquids. I honestly didn't try a single bad one while I was there. So it looks like I'll be expanding my collection of one this week! I'm grateful my mom got me started on vaping!

My first experience with a Vape was with my cousins mechanical with some mint chocolate chip juice back in late 2012. He basically told me it's an electronic hookah(I was heavily into hookahs at the time), thought it was pretty cool, but couldn't afford one at the time. A couple months later a b&m opens up nearby, my friends end up getting some ego starters and within a week I end up with one too.
Now I'm planning on getting some ego starters for parents to try and get them off analogs. Hopefully it works lol.

Welcome to the ECF and congratulations on purchasing your new gear.
I was a pack a day smoker for 20+ years and just like most, I started off with the gas station disposable ecig, which of course I disliked and went back to smoking.
A few weeks later I met a guy selling the inferno kit from Volcano e cigs, which is basically a suited up ego kit. The amount of vapor, the feeling of smoking, the flavor, it just blew me away and made me think and proved to me personally that I will be able to quit smoking once and for all. However, I wasn't able to quit the smokes right away, but it drastically lowered my consumption of cigarettes.
Since then I've moved on to other APV's and such and have been smoke free for 2+years.

I started way back in 2009. Initially I ordered a disposable from Volcano and instantly knew I had discovered a way to quit smoking that would work for me. My first kit was a 510 cig size. Used that for a couple months till the Ego hit the market. A few more months later, I invested in my first mod (5v GLV) and discovered cartos. 4 years into vaping, I have tried every delivery system and mod style out there. I always go back to a carto/tank set up on a Provari or other varivolt/watt device. I was very fortunate in that once I took my first vape, I have never touched nor desired another cigarette.

I started with a disposable i think was called NYK, but not sure. Anyway, it was'nt very nice and i continued smoking, whilst now and then giving various disposables a try. Eventually i found myself cutting down to about half vaping, half smoking and bought a rechargeable pack with a couple of batteries, and prefilled carts. These seemed better and made the transition from smoking easier (money being main reason, but lots of others including needing an op on my back soon). I stuck with these for about 2 weeks then bought myself a Vgo (similar to an ego i assume?), then an RCS tank kit and havent smoked for just over 5 weeks. Could have been longer if so many of the disposables werent so rubbish, but then again, they got me started on vaping so cant knock them too much.

I decided I was going to wear the nicotine patch and vape 0 mg blu cigs. The first day I lasted until that evening and then I broke all records tearing the patch off (again) and heading to Walgreens to get 24mg nicotine to fit my blu. lol kept the blue, added Victory and V2.....got an ego twist and a mini ego (must have for everyone lol I have two), got a vamo, got a vv/vw itaste.....kept filling those crazy cartridges, discovered tanks...fell in love with T2, sold them all got T3's....still have them and now on the evod kick. Lucky to have found three all day vapes...my menthol, my menthol, my menthol I love from Mr Eliquid, Krankberry from Fuzion that I add to my menthol to shake it up a little and the bubble gum ice. :) It's very addicting, congrats. :)
