How would you rate your home made juice?

Like a lot of newbies, I tried a lot of juice. Some I couldn't even get past the first vape, some were outstanding. So I decided to try my hand at making my own. BIG learning curve! I've dumped more then I kept it seems. But it's getting better.

I just wanted to see if anyone has been able to get close to something that was premade.

I'm partial to tobacco flavors, for some reason the candy type, cookies and cake don't seem to work for me.

I love my homemade stuff. Some of it comes out .. not-so-great.. But I mix with such a low % of flavoring that it's easy to change or correct.

There's an art to tobaccos... You need to start with a good base (a typical base would be Tobacco Absolute and Ethyl Maltol .. a lot of people, myself included, add Seedman's to that). Hop on over to the DIY part of the forum and join us! Lots of great guidance!!

I'm familiar with the Tobacco Absolute and the Ethyl Maltol, I use them both. And I found out the hard way that the TA goes a long way!
I haven't tried Seedman's as yet but I'm willing to give it a try. Thanks!

I've found with my home made juices that after a while the flavors seem to go bland. Could it be they are not mixed/steeped well enough? Also it could be me getting vapers tongue.

ON a scale of to 10: awesome. Oh sure there's some that I'll never try again, and can't wait to finish, but that's the fun of it. I dono, DIY (for me) isn't getting on par with the pros, it's more just...hm, the fun of mixing and trying different things, oddball combinations, pretending I'm a mad scientist, etc. There's definitely some great DIYers with solid recipes, how do you think those premixes came about?

Have you tried a bit of lemon juice or apple cider vinegar? I use LJ for my fruit/light jooses and ACV for the dessert/savory flavs @ 1 drop per 3ml. Sorry, can't help on 'bakky flavs.

To answer the OP, I have several DIY jooses that far surpasses premixes. In fact, in the beginning, I was so disappointed in the premixes that I tried DIY. And I'm not lookin' back!

So far I've only mixed single flavors. I did come up with Ecto Cooler (Flavor West) @ 14% all vg that I enjoy and have vaped all day. Need to order a bigger bottle from ecigexpress. Another I like is plain Blackberry from Flavor Art.
