I'm still waiting for this storm with 70 mph winds they said we were supposed to get. Just rainy and breezy. Everyone at the store is buying toilet paper and milk. I am not sure how that will help. If the power goes out the milk will go bad. Personally, I find it ineffective to try and mop up water with toilet paper. They do the same thing when it snows. Again, it's difficult to shovel snow with toilet paper.

It is nice to turn off the ac, open up the windows and listen to the rain. It rained a lot while we were camping.

Here in Tasmania it is COLD. Storm warnings today for severe winds, it rained and it was just icy - without the fun of snow. Not that it bothered me much, I must admit. I throw on a wrap & still sit & vape for ages outside, much to the amazement of my elderly neighbour.

Toilet paper & milk? Yeah, I don't get that either.

Good morning. I've been to Boise and Idaho City several times. Talk about beautiful! Mercy. I've also been there in summer, fall and winter. My favorite part was hearing the elk "bugle" at night. Now that was weird! LOL

The weather is similar here in Colorado. It gets very cool at night...and where I'm at it gets quite warm during the day (30 miles south of Colorado Springs). Very pretty. But I have a feeling I'm in for a weather culture shock when winter hits, eh? LOL

Good morning all!

How's the produce been out there? Just went food shopping and we had to go to three different grocery stores to find ACTUAL fresh fruits and veggies. This summer has killed my diet :)

Gorgeous, lows in the low 60's and high's in the upper 80's this has been a great summer. That's Idaho for you, even the weather is boring!

Discman has finally tamed the tomato jungle. Things got out of control when we were gone for a week. I had cucumbers that could have been sold as torpedos!!!! Evidently, there are a bunch of tomatoes ready to turn. They are coming in late this year. Last year something ate all my cuke plants so I planted about 30 of them this year thinking that 5 - 10 would survive. Practially all of them are still growing. I said a prayer for cucumbers. We have picked about 30 of them this week!!!! My neighbors and co-workers love me!
