My Girlfriend and I went to see Huey Lewis & The News at a venue we never been to before in a hoity toity town (Midland, MI.) We discussed weather or not we were going to attempt to vape at the show. I told her I would attempt to and if someone told us we couldn't, I would just smile and say, "Ok, no problem!" When getting a couple of drinks at the portable bar just outside the lobby at the theatre, the young man serving pointed to my ProVari in my belt holster and said, "Nice vaporizer!" I thanked him and asked what would be said if we vaped inside. He said he did not know but personally he doesn't vape where smoking is not allowed. I told him we were going to find out.

Upon entering, there were signs posted on the doors that said, "ATTENTION - Fog Machines in use at tonights show. If you have health concerns, please see the usher."

I looked at my girlfriend and said, "I guess that answers that question!" When entering the lobby a full hour before the show, it already looked like walking into a steam bath. How could they say anything when they were using fog machines and it was a constant fog all night. I did wait until the lights went down before vaping and just did it intermittingly. Nothing was said.

It likely depends upon the venue. Most indoor facilities have no-smoking ordinances in place. Figure on authorities considering e-cigarettes to be lumped into the cigarette smoking category -- yeah, I know its not smoking or smoke, but they consider it in the same category.

Having said that, if you are discreet and careful when/where you vape, you can vape at concerts. Just do not draw attention to yourself. I vaped at an indoor Muse concert a year ago.

I've also vaped at an outdoor concert facility to see Loverboy, Pat Benatar, and Journey. I went right through the security line showing my Provari to the security usher who nodded his approval.
