Hey guys
just got my prodigy last night and have two dead atty's already.

No matter how i draw on the prodigy, there is an occasional blurp and the atty pushes air into my mouth.

After that the atty is dead. It may do it twice or three times but dies shortly thereafter.

This does not happen with the pass through but only with the Prodigy stick.

I'm dripping 4 drops at a time no cart filler.

I'm freaking out !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HELP!!:w00t:

Could you be using 3.7 batteries instead of the 3.0 volt batteries?

The reason why I ask this is because when my Prodigy arrived, I was so excited, but bummed that I had to wait for the batteries to charge. But then I noticed that they looked the same as the batteries I used for my Screwdriver.

Burned out 3 atomizers fairly quickly before I figured out that the batteries were actually quite different.

Yes, I felt stupid. Very stupid. So stupid that it's hard to even admit my stupidity here. But on the off-chance that someone else might make the same mistake, I am bravely exposing myself to the ridicule of the vaping community.

What kind of atomizer?

I've been using 510s with no problem whatsoever. I have yet to fry one, even when burning them for over five seconds.

I'm beginning to think that the 510 atomizers are a LOT more robust than the 801s.
Surf.....Are you running that 510 on 5 or 6 volts?...Would think(from what I have heard)that 6volts at 5 seconds would fry those bad boys out?:)The Wiz!

 Truthfully, I was just impatient to try out my Prodigy, and I was too excited about the prospect of having charged batteries on hand to think very clearly about it at all. :)

But your kind words are appreciated.

5v and no problems going to a full five. If anything, they're lasting longer on the Prodigy than they did with stock batteries. The hotter burns seem to keep them from clogging so readily.

weird .... That *blurp* you speak of, I only get when the PD first fires and there is a lacking of juice.

TDM has experienced *burping* before, but that was when the batteries were dead, he rotated them within the chamber, to get one last hit before recharge ... this was also on an 801 ....

All I can suggest is juicing them up right from the start ... Instead of 4 drops -- Try 7-8 drops, turn on a couple times, then try an inhale :)

figured it out.

when there's little liquid and I take a small puff it will blurp and kill the atty.

Killed 3 atty's so far.

The battery charger is useless...the light is green and both batteries are flat.

I think i have a bad batch of stuff...
Almost right out of the box, you have to bend the metal prongs on the chargers that hits the flat part of the battery. be careful not to break them.
