But yes, get a second opinion - one person doesn't always have all the answers. Take it proactively, do all the research you can, and maybe look into clinical trials. Hang in there, and keep your chin up - it ain't over til the fat lady sings.

Perhaps it's just my attitude this evening but my heart goes out to bwh in his ordeal and truly can feel the disorientation of his life tonight - please know I'm lifting you up in my prayers for a total healing so you may take the last half of your life and do something with it that will make a real difference in this world!

It's called keeping a positive attitude. I'll either get better, or I won't, and there's no sense in crying over spilled milk, or dwelling on things that one cannot control.

@bwh79 my thoughts and prayers are with you. No doubt you have the right frame of mind to help you get through this. Remember, stress can wreak havoc on your body and you need all the strength you can get now. Positive thinking has real power in healing.

Try as hard as you can to think that you will absolutely beat this! I know just hearing the 'C' word puts you in a tail spin. After getting past that initial diagnosis, now you need to fight it.
