Hi, ECF setup the giveaway on upviral, and has sole access to it and all of the pertinent information. The spam accounts that were detected were simply email address, and names such as: XCJFSC@somerandomserver.com with a name like XCJFSC SSDJFF. Spam accounts like these lower the chance for real entrants grately unfortunately.

@Innokin_Ash Therefore since I used my ECF nick as 'first name: mud / last name: man' I was more than likely to be disqualified, am I correct in this assumption?
Thanks for any response :)

From what ash said I don't think that would be an issue. Also, if your email is a common domain, as Ash said, you would be fine. As long as it wasn't some seemingly random name and domain, plus they said they hand picked the last 50 winners, to me indicating there was extra attention given to such details for that last drawing.

Channel 4 News report on Ecigs. A 3 minute 27 second video about e-cigs and vaping in England. 95% less harmful than tobacco and recommended for smoking cessation and much more! Important and positive information here! Please watch & share!

Innokin also posted this From Time.com:

"Vaping Is 95% Healthier and 40% Cheaper Than Smoking" The pack-a-day smoker can save around $1,200 per year by vaping. The study, which was not funded by the tobacco lobby but rather the U.K.’s Department of Health, also noted that around half of the general public falsely assumed vaporizers and e-cigarettes were as unhealthy as a pack of Lucky’s, and that there’s no evidence vaporizers lead to smoking. In fact, the report suggested e-cigarettes as a useful tool to help people quit smoking.

What the report doesn’t mention is that jumping on the e-cig train could save considerable money compared to traditional smoking. According to NerdWallet, disposable e-cigarettes will mug you an average of $1,387 per year if you’re a pack-a-day smoker—considerably less than the $2,569 equivalent yearly cost of the real thing. While it’s still enough to make a dent in your budget, the savings could be critical for many, since tobacco use is higher among among people at a lower socioeconomic status.

If you really want to get that cost down, you can sacrifice some convenience and buy a reusable vape with liquid refills, getting the cost down to about $500 to $600 per year—an average savings of over $2,000. Well, it could save you that, plus a couple decades on your life."

@mudmanc4 I highly doubt it, especially if you have an account with a well known email provider. Even though ECF asked for a real name for the contest, some entries that provided just one name or a username were added to the winners list via "xxx@.com".
Nah I used a spamarrest account, but hey the local shop should have the colors I want in soon enough and I'll grab one. They said and I'll quote "it's a damn nice product" = that's good enough for me right there.

Thanks for the response!

I think it would be interesting if, when the grande prize winner is announced, we could be informed what it actually took to win the grande prize. You know !?, the details of exactly how much the Innokin Disruptor was promoted by the winner. Only as an interesting statistic you understand !. I'd actually like to see details of all the winners success at promoting the Innokin Disruptor. I just think the numbers would be interesting to compare, in order, from who was the most successful, and just how close the nearest runner up was to winning the grande prize.

I would like to see just how much the winners networking benefited Innokin. I could have networked a ton of points but none would ever buy any E cig product.:)
