Dang it I'm hard on my stuff. I totally messed it up! That's what I get for dropping it for the thousandth time while charging...

Well, time to break out the torx bits, soldering gun and solder. I hope it can be fixed!

And I know where Red lives too...err um.. in case she thinks she can sneak the red cell off to someone else! .....and I also know that Max is a fur ball not a Pit Bull...;):lol::lol:

Well, I'm going to attempt repair here soon. It does seem to charge when the cord is held into the bottom at an angle. That suggests the port snapped off of the board.
If all else fails, maybe I'll MacGyver a 18650 battery holder on the outside (and remove the battery inside) and make it a replacable battery. It would be ugly as sin, but it would work. The upside to that, more capacity and quick changes when the battery dies.
