Teach them firmly but gently please...much better than someone storming off and then getting hurt
with bad info

A verbal battle rarely has any "winners"

By verbal thrashing I mean give them the correct info, not call them names like big stupid head :p

Ever try to leash a preciously ferrel cat? Took us 4 years til we found the right combo that worked for both of us (grin). THEN he was happy to go for a walk on a leash or be outside on a leash. (very necessary in RV parks! - there are folks who are very particular about what they see 'running around' and NOT on a leash - haha). Start them when they're small and less equal in weight to the trainer (grin).
Yup....body harness works better then collar for them too :p

@NancyB when you clicked unsubscribe, you just unsubscribed from getting an email every time someone signs up from one of your links. You will still get credit when someone does, you just won't get an email notification. If you want to check your points just click on one of your referral links and sign into the contest and it will show them.

I unsubscribed to them and I'm still getting points. :)

I'm behind in my reading (Pg86 of 94)...Just stating this here, because I'm NOT getting any HELP 'over there' trying to email UpViral (and talking to a person) about them unsubscribing me from their website/emails regarding this contest. Any help (from ECF or Innokin) would be much appreciated by this 'old gal'. I'm not getting a person to converse with over through UpViral or Emarky. Seems emails from them are computer generated and no help presently.

Basically, I got an email 7/24/15 at 5 a.m. saying this, from UpViral:
"Nancy Barnhart, Someone Signed Up Through You! Nancy Barnhart, we've got some great news! Someone signed up through your referral link! Your new point total is 39 Keep up the good work! Click Here to unsubscribe from future updates."

My issue is everything after "Click Here" was in light pink/purple text and I did not see it nor read it! - I clicked there to see who had signed up through what posting of mine, so I could encourage more postings through that source!!! NOT to unsubscribe!!! Now they say they have created a new account for me, but in order to get there I much sign up through something called "Emarky" (with my name/id and password) with absolutely no information about who the heck Emarky is! Like I'm now wondering, who's going to be snooping at what of mine?, how many mass mailings will I be signing up for? If it's so hard to just undo my 'clicking', what's going to happen when I sign up with Emarky and have any issues? Ya see what's going on here? Rather ticks me off in the middle of a contest! and what happens to my points already earned? Are they added to the new account? Is it only me this is a problem for? In the beginning I didn't like UpViral's "snowflake" instead of a picture of Innokins Disrupter, what's wrong with a simple line at the bottom of any posting or email that says "this was provided by UpViral" instead of a snowflake that says nothing to folks about what this contest is all about (I think there should have been a picture of the Innokin's items instead there!). ARGH!!! Grrrrrrr!!! not happy on this end! If I refuse to sign up with whatever Emarky is, I believe I'm out of this contest against my wishes! signed by 'grumbling in arizona'

I believe in every other case that I've unsubscribed from mailings/websites/notices, etc. I've first off received an email that asked if the request they had just received is from me and that my request to unsubscribe is something that I want to do. IF UpViral had this practice in order, I would not have unsubscribed, seeing that I definitely had missed something and clicked that "click here" in error. Just saying....and spouting off some steam on this end!

Hi Nancy, I'm sorry you're having this issue. Could you PM Toby @flushdraw, I'm sure he could help you with this issue. Unfortunately we (Innokin) did not setup nor select UpViral to host the giveaway. The decision was made by ECF, so unfortunately I have no way of unsubscribing you.

I hope you can get this sorted.

But, @Kprthevapr, perhaps 'the cloud' is a possible link up for Innokin for reals!!! Tis another newer 'product' and rather 'out there' in the clouds kind of thinking - and we make clouds.... (well some more than others).... perhaps that is a possible source for Innokin to research?

Thanks, I hadn't linked up my thinking, (knowing already you guys hadn't set up UpViral with this contest)... sorry!
I'll follow up with @flushdraw and see how things work out. on another note - I was unsub'd by my own handling of this, I want to be re-sub'd onto their linkup to this contest with my points intact, please (grin).

As a person who has cancer and several family members in 4 generations battling right now i agree. If you look at cancer treatment regimen over the past 50 years while also looking at the funds available to let's say komen it's sickening. It hasn't changed. 50 years ago people did chemo and rads. They say cure rates have increased but that isn't really true. What did change is how they measure survival. When you read about survival rates is only for 5 years. It's how many people survived for 5 years after dx. Komen operates on the marketing of awareness but looking at their donations from last year.. Id say plenty are aware lol. But better yet what did komen do with their funds? Wink wink. Hint it didn't go to help anyone with cancer. I'm picking on komen because they actually raise the most, use the less for helping and have been caught pink washing as well as selling items that had known carcinogens in them to raise money. Facepalm

I totally agree with @GemInEye here!! IF Innokin links up with a charity persay, make sure it's one that actually passes the money on to those who need the help (not the 'management' of those in need), not stick the majority of the funds shared freely with them into their own pockets!!! BEWARE of the big names out there and do your homework before giving to any charity! We work hard for our money, and whoever receives it for whatever reason should also be ones who appreciate our work and keep it going for whatever we've given it to them to be done with.
