Some more from my club hopping days in the 80's (towards the end).
Whenever I hear these songs again, I have to crank up the volume.
Hey, I appreciate Taylor Swift. Don't much care for her music, but she is one of the few that has kept her morals and remains a positive role model for her audience
Sent with one hand, the other is busy vaping.
I HATE auto tune
haha does she even LIKE guys? She's not very nice to them. I think she only dates so she'll have something to write about.I don't believe the image she's selling for a second. I've never seen a better example of a wolf in sheep's clothing when it comes to pop music. Think about some of the guys she's dated and when she dated them not to mention her obsession with the number 13. She gives me the creeps.
+1
She changes guys faster than most people change their socks. I bet most of its to keep her in the headlines.haha does she even LIKE guys? She's not very nice to them. I think she only dates so she'll have something to write about.![]()
I love Daydream Believer by the Monkees.I had forgotten ALL ABOUT Sweet! I used to love their stuff. And Xanadu! OMG, the stupidest movie ever made, and I watch it EVERY time it's on! I love the singing, the skating, and the whimsy of it I guess.
As far as favorite music, I'm a Pink Floyd girl. I have all these CDs but no CD player now, so I don't get to listen to it much anymore. I like lots of other stuff, too, Journey, Aerosmith, T. Rex, Led Zep, Iron Butterfly, and a hundred others. I love music. But I like Floyd the best. I can listen to that all day.
My guilty pleasures music is probably The Monkees. I had the worst crush EVER on them when they first came out. I was like TEN years old, but bless my dad's heart, he bought me every single one of their albums, allowed me to watch their idiotic show (I was SO smitten) every Monday night during dinner, and never complained about the fact that the only music in the house was my Monkees albums blaring from my room. The man was a saint. LOL! Now they're running re-runs of the TV show on some weekends, and I'm watching them and thinking, "WHAT was I thinking?" LOL! But I still seem to like the music. I think it just reminds me of happier days when I was young and had not a care in the world except maybe what mom was gonna make for dinner.

I loved it when Michael J Fox said that he didn't want her dating his son, for fear that she would write a song about him.She changes guys faster than most people change their socks. I bet most of its to keep her in the headlines.

hey redYes, please make her go away!!!
Say what you will about Taylor, but I can show you others with far less integrity that made millions. Sometimes you have to just accept brilliance.![]()
I calls em like I sees em.
Well, his name says it all, Bad Ninja...Look at what you started...
Bad, bad, Ninja.![]()
At least Taylor didn't pull a Miley and start running around half (or completely) naked and banging everything in sight.
I do not disagree. But who is to say the behavior is not a fabricated one, merely for the purpose of creativity? Many of songwriters write about many issues/conditions such a social issue, political issues or just plain old love, her bailiwick happens to be relationships. I have had many dates, that does not suggest I am immoral in any way. The fact you or no one else hears about it is the difference.I didn't judge her "talent", I just checked the "morals" comment.
The actions or lack of integrity of others is no excuse for ones own behavior.
She may have psychological issues as well, the way she runs through relationships, blames the other and uses the process to write and sell songs which readily and openly admits.
Can't say much for her morals tho.
