Got the NGP in today, already wrote about it on another thread but thought to update this one. I was leery seeing pics of the large top cap that I would like it. I'm into small chambered Genisis atty's because I like warm vapor/flavor. In reality, the top cap is smaller than the ZAP but not quite as small as my orion. The vapor is surprisingly warm w/ the stock coil. I'm also digging how light it is!

I had to unroll the wick some as it was falling through the coil but was a quick fix. The only other minor quip is the switch ring is a bit lop sided but works (some misfires but in fairness, I'm getting use to it). Also; there's a corrosion spot on the brass ring that was there upon arrival.

All in all I think I'll keep it for a go out/knock around Gen. Love the blue light too! Maybe I'm alone in that...lol

Received my new black anodized touch NGP with red LED (18350+18650) today.

It vapes like a beast, is really compact and light. Anodizing is still not perfect (although there are only problems with the bottom of the device). They are still working out the kinks....

This is going to be my goto out and about mod. It doesn't draw too much attention and is so small I can easily hide it in my hand (as long as I avoid activate it by mistake).

That my NGP ..it's so small compare to other hybrids ..it's in 18350 mode have an 18650 coming soon... I like it ...still searching for a perfect set up on it... Cos I like a hot or very warm Vape and can't get it set yet on it... Sure I can ...some help?

Does anyone know if they are still selling mods? I requested to buy two ring switches in May and was told then it would be a few weeks before I could place my order... I didn't hear anything for months and sent a couple emails over the past few weeks but no reply.

Try sandor mikus on Skype .... He takes care of the english speaking customers.. He is a nice guy ..sure he will reply

3/4 or 4/5 wraps of 32awg kanthal (4/5 is cooler with less TH).

Thanks .. But I did try that a few times without results ... Now a Q ...if I do a twisted coil " will that drain the battery or harm it and will increase OHMS or lower ohms? " sry for my lack of knowledge in this field " I never tempered with electricity ...so I have no clue....

Twisted coil will lower ohms. Add an extra wrap or two of coil. Try to get ~1.5Ω coil for the heat you are trying for. Battery needs to be an IMR 18350. If it is a a Lithium Ion battery, the drain is to much if that coil is less then 1.5Ω.

I am using 30g wire with a 6/7 coil wrap. My OHMS are 1.5Ω and using 325 mesh vaping 100%VG. I get good heat and tons of vapor and flavor.

no damage, just discharge faster. the ideal turning 5/4 possibly 4/3. Youtube contains some video about this!

That's the 30g wire and 325 mesh is what I have ... And I got the IMR 700 mah and Efest IMR 800 mah.... I will try this one now ... I Tell you if it worked.

If you are using 30g wire, I see no reason to run a twisted coil BTW. Glad to see you are running IMR batteries

Perhaps you can raise the coil up higher with small washers and also use a short drip tip?

Yeah, you definitely don't want to run a twisted coil w/ 30g! A twisted coil will cut your resistance in half (like I mentioned on one of your other threads, you do have a lot )

For example, if you have a 2ohm coil w/ a single wrap 32g coil, a twisted coil of the same gauge (using the same wraps as your single coil) would be roughly 1ohm. I only use 32g as an example. 30g has a lower resistance so twisting that would be dangerous, even w/ IMR batts.

Do try a shorter drip tip. My CE2's have a short mouth piece and the vapor is HOT. If I put a standard drip tip on the vapor is quite a bit cooler. That coupled w/ a 1.5ohm coil should give you plenty of heat.

Hi I did the twisted coil and came out a 1.4ohm ...now it's more like it ..and I would guess it will get better as they Break in.. Thanks a lot for all your help cos I was really getting frustrated and had already put my NGP on the shelf cos of that.

Glad you got it working to your liking. It's all about experimenting until you do find that sweet spot. To add to my warning, you could use a twisted 30g coil but it'd take more wraps, but either way, you seemed to have figured it out.

I didn't figured it out lol .. You all did for me... I did a 3/4 twisted coil and is working ... And it's a bit easier on the NGP to not over drain the batteries ..cos of the LED , when it starts dimming I change the bat .. This NGP. Turned out to be a real treat?.

Yeah, the LED not only looks cool (imo) but does serve to warn of low batt. Pretty cool!

I am really liking this NGP .. It's amazing how good it vapes ... I tryed my friends hybrid " Orion " and it vapes just the same .. Obviously the built is different .. But vapor -TH and taste are very very much the same ....this NGP should be in everyone's collection !!

What wick sizes are you all using w/ your NGP's?

I would imagine, even though the wick hole is large, you wouldn't want to fill it as the top cap is plastic and could melt? The original had some play. I even suspect they used the drill bit method.

Just curious as to what everyone is using.
