stuck in a squishy pod called my brain
A baby lizard darted away from me last night as I was headed to the kitchen--barefooted. EEEEeewwww! He's probably looking for water, so if I find him, I'll send him your way!

I'm not afraid of the things, but I wouldn't want to step on one.
always be 'honored' when nature wants to live with you,,,,they are very 'anti-toxicity' type of folks :) growing up the farmers wanted to know about it if kids found a deformed frog,, frogs are like 1 level more sensitive than humans.

i love watching the lizards by my home,, so colorful and fast little guys and they eat bugs.

we have quite a few deer around here too,, a few weeks ago i saw a guy jogging early in the morning with his dog and 2 deer.......no the dog wasn't chasing them,, everyone just jogging together.

So far we've dodged two nasty rain bands. Think our luck has ran out...

I truly am honored. I even saw a tiny frog on the patio a couple of weeks ago, hadn't seen one in decades. I stopped using chemicals on the lawn about 20 years ago, even fertilizers. I use ground alfalfa pellets, corn gluten meal, ground eggshells, greensand, etc. for nutrients on the lawn and garden. I think the wildlife appreciates it. BUT I want them to live outside!

Wait, I'm drifting from the subject. This is about Irma, right?!

@HazyShades is in Florida as well, although he doesn't post much these days, he's still around, and living in Florida. We should add him as he is an active member still.

I have all the above in my prayer list..

If you like lizards come on over for a visit. We have hundreds if not thousands of those damn curly tailed lizards. They're an invasive species and apparently they love it here. All over the place. They're pushing out the native lizards, if you see a real chameleon around your lucky. They're a little creepy, hundreds of em sitting along the edge of the grass and the minute you walk by they scurry off to hide.

Pretty bad here, off and on, in the West Melbourne-Palm Bay Area. Several tornado warnings. One has touched down in a Palm Bay mobile home park. 6 homes destroyed, but no casualties reported.
They don't call them tornado magnets for nothing. You cam get no damage anywhere else in town but, the local trailer park will be trashed. I do hope everybody came out unscathed however.

Double with not a speck of room to put a vehicle in there.
Yes, the truck and the car are right up to the door, no way to get one there sideways.

Have any sheets of plywood? Put them against the door and back the truck and car up against the plywood, would give a little more bracing for the door. If you have some tires off rims you could put those between the rear bumpers and the plywood or something along that line.

Good luck Classy!
