I just wanna pop my head in and comment..

I can 100% vouch for SpectrumTanks, the quality is beyond reproach.

I needed some replacements for one of my favorite Hybrids, my Zen Altus. Well, until very recently(like yesterday) there was no tanks available for the Altus. Only the original Zen large tanks, which are ever so slightly too big for the Zen Altus. With no other options, they work enough to get you vaping, but the top cap barely fits.

regardless of that, I still bought a total of 6 tanks from Spectrum, because I loved how great they looked.(and since I had no other option, with no idea how long it would be until a proper Altus tank became available...)

And now that he makes tanks for the Altus, Ill be ordering more immediately. My ONLY complaint, is that I wished he made a clear one.

Oh yeah, and he ships faster than is realistically possible. First order was placed at roughly 7:00am on a monday morning. I broke the tank, paniced, googled, found em, ordered em. I kid you not, I got a shipping notice at, a SHIPPING notice, complete with tracking number, 13 minutes later.

Cant go wrong with spectrum tanks guys.

    P.A.
You should ask him if he has a clear one or anything that will match.

I used just the female end of the chicago screw, cut it and ground it down a bit. I used the spring from the old part to keep the adjustable portion of the switch. I have buttontop and flat tops i use. I didn't like the idea of the screw. I prefer the spring. I'll be replacing it with a brass spring as soon as i get one.

Coil doesn't look the best. I wrapped it quick with the included mesh with 28g. Still not to great at wrapping on mesh. Just wanted to get it up and going. Pulsed it out put in some diy apple caramel and hit it up! Hits good and strong. Next up will be drilling the airhole out.

Make sure you've got a good grip on that top cap when you start to drill it out. I made a really irritating scuff on mine with my dremel. It's nothing major but it bugs the livin' crap out of me. I can't find any place/one who has just the top caps. Hell I woulda bought a whole 'nother one in that sale that someone posted about previously and given my munged up one to my brother. He needs a hybrid anyway....

Well joined the cheap, maybe it's not the real cheap Hybrid Elite Mod by Rainbow club. Just received the gold $30 VapoTech today. Picked up the Chicago screw from Ace, on my way home from the dentist. Didn't like the gold color in person, so stuck the Elite in the oven while I did the switch mod and charged up my new aw 18650 batteries that arrived also.

Torched the SS mesh that came with the Elite, did a 6 wrap with 28awg Kanthal. Well now my gold hybrid is silver, with a gold ring where the base of the atty connects. Assembled everything, pulsed the coil, everything looks good. Juiced it up, took a vape, yeah some hot spots. After playing with the coils, finally got it hitting good.

Congratulations!! My first successful genesis build. Yeah. Have vaped about 1/2 tank now and wick is starting to break in and flavor is improving. I juiced it with some of my Apple pie vape that was made yesterday, so that I could compare it against the Provari sporting a Rocket rba, cheap kayfun clone, it has a vertical mounted micro coil with external cotton wick, using the same juice.

My Provari is producing a better tasting vape, but the Elite is catching up as the wick gets more broke in. Throat hit seems to be a bit harder on the Elite, Vapor production about the same, maybe a tad more on the Elite, but am way over nic'd right now to tell for sure. The Provari is cranked as high as she can put out, 14.89 watts on a 1.3 ohm build.

Want to thank you guys for all the tinkering you've done on this mod so that I knew exactly what I had to do before taking my first vape. I took a little bit to much diameter off the head of my Chicago screw, so I used some vice grips and squished out the head a bit to increase it's diameter, and now it fits nice and tight. Going to have to trim down the length a hair more, showing a tad bit of thread, but it's hitting really well. Put in a rubber O-ring between the switch and the base like TheJack did, compliments the looks when going with a shroud-less tank.

Well $30 and I have another device, broke into the Mech world, and enjoying my vape. Now just waiting for the Nemesis 2 Tone Clone to show up, brass on silver, and then I'll have 3.

I ordered the brass on silver Nemesis clone out of California, last night. Looks pretty sweet. Wanted to get a mech that I could Kick 2 with a 18650. Should be here Wed. along with the kick 2 and an Xtar VP1 battery charger from RTD. Already bought the AW imr 18650's and Tatroe extension ring and base for the Provari, since I started vaping at 15 watts, was going through 18490's like crazy. Now I'll be able to stand the Provari on end on my vape breaks without worrying about someone jarring the table and knocking over the P. Was looking at the Galileo, could kick it but the threads would be exposed, and the Nemesis clone comes with kick ring and much sexier looking.

Just finished my first tank through the Elite, Must say the flavor is improving and getting a very good vape off this Hybrid. Only bought it because it was a genesis and was determined to learn the way of the SS mesh. Have a SS mesh cotton core build on my Terminator-C and it is hitting Fraking Great!! And to think, 6 months ago started out with V2's cigalikes. Then I found the ECF.

I didn't realize the V2's were out. What are the differences?

awesome. when you get thet Elite V2 you should start a thread and post pics. i would have ordered it but ordered the ss Nemesis and Brass nemesis with a Rocket rba so funds are low. the SS Nemesis clone is pretty nice if you dont have one. it just took 29 days to get.
