P.A.
I quit 23 years of smoking with V2 cigs back in Jan 28 2011.

I ordered the brass on silver Nemesis clone out of California, last night. Looks pretty sweet. Wanted to get a mech that I could Kick 2 with a 18650. Should be here Wed. along with the kick 2 and an Xtar VP1 battery charger from RTD. Already bought the AW imr 18650's and Tatroe extension ring and base for the Provari, since I started vaping at 15 watts, was going through 18490's like crazy. Now I'll be able to stand the Provari on end on my vape breaks without worrying about someone jarring the table and knocking over the P. Was looking at the Galileo, could kick it but the threads would be exposed, and the Nemesis clone comes with kick ring and much sexier looking.

Just finished my first tank through the Elite, Must say the flavor is improving and getting a very good vape off this Hybrid. Only bought it because it was a genesis and was determined to learn the way of the SS mesh. Have a SS mesh cotton core build on my Terminator-C and it is hitting Fraking Great!! And to think, 6 months ago started out with V2's cigalikes. Then I found the ECF.

I posted some links to the V2. I don't know of any sellers with the C2 yet. I am guessing there are still quite a few companies that have V1's in-stock. I have seen a few of them selling the V1 for $25 or so.

I guess RH is supposed to be coming out with a V2. I wish I could figure out what they are changing on it. Looks like the button is going to be different and it is going to be made out of SS instead of aluminum.

I am liking the looks of the V2 with that brass shotgun shell button. Does it have a locking ring on it? Does it telescope or is that a misprint?

It locks like the Sigelei #19 does. You unscrew the metal piece above the button and it comes down and around the button I think. If you click that first link in my post above where I quoted myself you can see the button in the lock position in the 3rd picture down. It does telescope. The two middle sections have a tube inside of them that allows you to adjust it for whatever battery.

I forget if this was mentioned before, but Bucky has spare glass tanks for the HE.

I didn't read through this entire thread so this may be redundant, or I may just be a dummy. I've built coils before, but never had this spring washer set up thing. I've done mine two ways, take the whole thing off (spring, washer, top thing) wrapped the coil and then replaced everything (wire was on bottom, then spring etc.), and just taken washer and top thing off and wrapped coil between spring and washer then tightened. Seems the later worked better, but I don't know which is the correct way. I was told the legs (wire going too and from positive?) shouldn't light up, but the one going to positive does regardless of how I wrap it... am I doing something wrong? or do I just need to practice?

Finally finished reading this thread...wow... I recently put an RSST on my SmokTech Natural and really like the Genesis type vape and am thinking of getting one of these and thought I'd ask a few questions. Would it be worth it to wait for the V2? Anyone know when they will hit the states? I know from reading the thread the V1 switch needs modding. Looks easy enough. I've modded a few APV's that I have... No biggie... Other than the switch and the negative screw, was there any other modding that needs to be done? This was a lot of reading!! Have there been any leaking problems experienced by anyone? Is the atty much more difficult to build than the RSST? It looks very similar. Can the mesh actually set on the bottom of the tank? I am not sure if I really like the quartz tank cover or not. I have found it at Venerable Vaping, but it doesn't come with the cover nor the pouch... No biggie on the pouch as I don't carry one anyway. From what I recall, most of the pics I have seen in the thread were without the cover for the tank. What is the general concensus? Sorry for all the questions... Any insight would be appreciated... Thanks.

I've got mine working pretty good... After lots of trial and error, and SO much help from some folks on here. Right now I'm using a micro coil 7/8 wrap on 500 ss wick right at 1.0. I hate the spring on the positive post... I've seen lots of different modifications, unfortunately I'm not the "handiest" gal out there. Can I just take the spring out and use the 2 nuts? Or does the whole post need to be covered by something?

The cover is for the plastic tank. i`m thinking for protection from dropping it. the quarts tank is thicker then the plastic and also look much better. my opinion its easy to build. 500 mesh 3 wrap with 30 gauge wire. .9 ohms. i have it set up now with cotton. 4 wrap 30 gauge 1.1 ohm. i have no leaking problems when its standing upright. if i have it laying down it leaks out the wick hole. as for the mesh i had it on the bottom of the tank "touching" but for piece of mind i give it about 1mm clearance.

you can take the spring out but it helps keep the coil in front of the air hole. without the spring the coil will be below the hole but yeah, it can be taken off. you could also stack multiple nuts if you like. its a nice vape. have fun with it. your only limited to your imagination.

Huh? The air hole is next to the fill hole, which is on the other side of the atomizer, and not anywhere near the wick setup.
I just want to make sure I'm not gonna cause a short or something. The whole positive post is covered, between bottom nut, spring and top nut... But if you flip the nuts over, so the wide part on the bottom is facing up, and the wide part on the top is facing down and take the spring out they fit flush. But when you do this, either the bottom or top part of the positive post is naked.
I may be looking too far into this, but I'm for sure not an electrician. If I blow my face up, I'm screwed. My job is more in the lines of helping people who blow THEIR faces up :)
