Hi, guys!
I was happily vaping all day and was proud and felt good and not I suddenly had this craving for a normal cigarette! It makes me feel awlful I mean, the whole purpose of e-cigs is that you are not suppose to want normal cigs, right? Does it mean that I am not suitable for e-cigs? Did it happen to any of you? Or you just converted to e-cigs straight away?

Don't worry about it Irina. I started vaping a month ago and went through the same thing. It's a process not an abrupt, total change.
I continued with the analogs till yesterday.

Thank you so much for your support! It is such a relief to know that I am not alone in what I am going through.
I followed MickeyRat's advice and bought a pack of cigs this morning. I smoked 3 during the day!!! Three, oh my God, two days ago it was 30!!! I forgot when it was the last time I was buying A pack - usually 5-10 packs as I was too scared to be left without.
And you know what? I didn't even enjoyed them much. How weird is that?
I kept vaping during the day and I think I liked it more and more. I also ordered some different liquids to try different tastes and strengths.
We'll see. One step at a time, right?

Congratulations Irina. You've made some great choices!! Now, a fun thing to do to keep your motivation high: buy up some sample juices. Some people wind up LOVING menthol who never smoked a menthol cigarette in their lives. Don't try just tobacco flavors. NHaler.com (a vendor here) has great samples and excellent juice. So do lots of other vendors. Look in the e-juice forum for inspiration.

Keep doing what you're doing. Vape a good long time every time you feel you want a cig. When you're done, go have a cig if you still want one; you'll find yourself liking them less and less. When you find a juice that you love, you won't like them at all. There's no way to be told this; you have to actually experience it before your brain will believe you and allow you to quit having that one last cigarette. I've been vaping for nearly two years and had the occasional cigarette here and there; however, the last few months I haven't even wanted one and I have a full pack unopened.

It's a good thing to have some stout 36-mg juice handy. Vape it for a bit and watch that craving disappear!! Usually you just THINK you want a cigarette; in fact it's really a nicotine dose that your body is calling for. You won't need the 36 mg all the time but it sure is nice to have around.

Good luck and vape on!!

Been away for the weekend so coulldn't look at my own post...
Thanks, Michelle, for your advice about the juces. I used to smoke menthol cigarettes years ago but then all of a sudden stopped liking them. May be I'll give them a go. I am looking forward to stopping wanting normal cigs, I do not enjoy them as I used to, and certainly don't smoke as many as I used to, but I still crave them from time to time. I suppose, I just have to wait and see. It was encouraging for me to read that even you, who have been vaping for two years, only quit completely some months ago. There is a hope for me after all!
I am still not sure about the technical side of it all. I keep re-reading the kind replies I received in my post trying to figure out is it time already to replace my cartrige?atomizer? The only sure thing is changing batteries because I just can't do it if they are not charged!
