I got a lot of value out of watching vape videos. They have helped me find out about different ways of vaping, to help refine what works for me. I never watch ejuice reviews, don't see the point of them at all. All of my favorite reviewers have been mentioned in this thread except for bigloueastcoast. I like his videos even though his vaping style is a lot different than mine...he's probably the least biased reviewer out there. Most of these guys are more like HSC or TVC hosts than actual reviewers...and they do, in fact, get paid, by sponsorships as well as youtube revenue sharing. They're not really doing it for free, for the most part. That's not a criticism of them, some of them are very upfront about it. Anytime you see an affiliate code, that's also a revenue source. Again I don't blame any of them for making an honest buck, but I also take that into consideration when I watch a review. It's very rare that a reviewer will say, "Don't buy this, it's a piece of junk." If it's a significant purchase, I usually wait a for a few weeks after a review to see what regular customers think of the thing, rather than buying based on a review. Sometimes, it's really useful to watch a video about a device you already own...case in point, I recently got a new/old aqua2 rta...it was useful to watch vid about it, although nothing I didn't already know...just for stuff like what ID coil, what resistance, airflow, etc, the reviewer favored. For some of these guys, every single tank/rda/mod is 'sick as tots'. I tend to avoid those reviewers.
