Well it has been a crazy move...very stressful and at times depressing. For those that care to know.. Amber (my beautiful wife) wanted to move down here to be closer to her dad (Southern Indiana). So I quit my job as a supervisor for a fertilizer manufacturer, and moved the family here. We had to stay in a knights inn for two weeks cuz apts. around here were very hard to find, at least affordable apts.
We have finally got a place and unfortunately have had some bad luck.....internet,tv and cable took a week to get, air conditioner hasn't worked since day one (man...its flippin hot) and it seems management is in no hurry to fix anything...I am livid over the air.
I took a job at Cummins,GREAT place to work..I/we build engines (mid-range) for dodge trucks, buses and frieghtliners..very cool, but there is a 90 to 120 day probationary period in which they only pay 10.50/hr....OUCH. Just hope I can make it in time to get hired, cuz I have never worked for such a great company.
